"Working with Arthur and the Ballard Enterprises team was a great experience. They did an amazing job with the landscaping, cleanup, and retaining wall. I nearly cried because I haven't seen the outside of my home look decent in so long. :-) The brick for the retaining wall is beautiful and it seems to "brighten" the home. Ballard also did cleanup in my back area and WOW! It looks great and no more walking through tall weeds and mint to get to my deck. I appreciate Arthur teaching me about hostas. I'm not a gardener and know very little about plants and had no idea that was in my yard. And I thought this would take a couple of days but they completed everything in one day. Also I appreciated the quick scheduling of the project and I'm sure my neighbors appreciated it too. :-) Would highly recommend Ballard and have already received many compliments about the work done. "Lazaro and his crew members, Fidel, William, and Issac, transformed our back yard from being a dirty and unpleasant hellscape where my wife and I never spent any time to being a beautiful and clean space where we can host parties, cookouts, and relax. The crew was extremely professional, organized, thoughtful, experienced, efficient, and communicative throughout the course of the project. I was quite impressed with their design and planning skills, extensive experience, and passion for their work. My wife and I own a small row house with a small back yard, which presented unique challenges to the crew: no back yard access except through neighbors’ properties. The crew handled this challenge well by being communicative and friendly with my neighbors and always cleaning up the space at the end of each working day. They always ensured that the fencing and hardscaping looked good from both sides of the property line, so that my neighbors were also happy! Another challenge was that an adjacent property is about 3 feet above grade and not pleasant to look at from our yard. Lazaro’s planning and vision for a beige brick half-wall, topped with wooden lattice flower boxes was a great finishing touch that provided a beautiful transition between the red brick paver patio and the elevated wooden fence to block the view of the adjacent property. The crew carefully planned their work from the beginning, so that there were no surprises at the end as the finishing touches were put on and the fence was erected. My wife and I are also confident that the money we spent on this work will be a great investment—not only for enjoying our new home, but also in the resale value some day in the future. "I've been with them I know 4 years.  You're gonna have a hiccup every now and then.  There was in an announcement they gave me for mulching and everything, but we got it straightened out.  I'm not sure how long that's gonna be, but we got it straightened out.  They're very good.   They're a very good family ran business.  Two brothers are running it now, Matt & Rick; and both of them you know, they're just good guys.  They do an excellent job.  Matt, who oversees the mowing; I can't say enough good things about him because he's outstanding.  One thing I've noticed about this particular landscaping company; they care you know, they wanna know if you're not happy.  Especially Matt; I think Rick does landscaping, but as far as the mowing and all this other stuff.  Matt's the one that I have most of, well actually all of my correspondence is with Matt.  He has a crew that does all the work.  The cost is weekly.  On price, I think for the size of yard; A.  On punctuality, well now sometimes they come maybe on a Wednesday.  I think if I set a date, if I said Matt I want the crew here on Thursday no exceptions; I think he'd do it.  I didn't have them mow last week because it was too hot and the yard didn't need it.  So they came Monday, when they would have usually been here Wednesday or Thursday before.  So, it's okay.  The only reason why I went trying, I was just checking prices because I'm alone and I'm trying to watch how I spend the money, but nah.  They're just good guys.  They are a good company and I'm speaking 98.9% regarding Matt because that's the one I use the most.  I hope he knows it, but it never hurts for someone else to tell him.  He's just been very good as far as my relationship with him on business; it's just been outstanding.  I just have a good relationship with him and I hope it continues because I don't know what I'd do.  I'm sure there's other good ones out there, but that's just one thing I don't have to worry about.  I'd be glad for him to know it, because as I said I think he already knows how much I appreciate him and how much I think of him, but it's always good for him to know that I'm willing to tell others too.  It's hard work.  You know landscaping; I know they get on mowers and I know they ride, but let me tell ya.  It's hot out there so I appreciate 'em."
