"I have done a lot of home renovation projects in the past, and I wish ALL contractors were like Mike. From start to finish of this ENORMOUS project, Mike was amazing to work with. He showed up when he said he was going to show up, he responded promptly to emails and texts, and he remembered all of the little details that we discussed along the way. His estimate was accurate and included all of the components that we talked about, and then we made some adjustments to the original estimate, which were also perfectly captured. And on top of all that, his quote/estimate was one of the most reasonable ones that we received (and we got 6 quotes). He was so knowledgeable with the information and advice that he provided, and I had complete trust that he would do a superb job. We had to move out of the house while the work was ongoing. He kept in touch the entire time, providing updates regularly. I never doubted that things were going well and according to plan. He had a team of two additional guys and they were also very pleasant and very hard working. And the work that was done was unbelievable quality. It looks so beautiful - a complete transformation of the home! In addition to the flooring, we paid Mike to install new 6 inch baseboards, which was a great addition. I would recommend Mike and Universal Flooring to anyone who is considering new hardwood floors or any flooring work for that matter. We will certainly use him again in the future if ever needed. THANK YOU MIKE!!!"

"I have a family member who is disabled, and spends most of her time in a particular upholstered chair. The seat cushion on that chair these days was not very supportive. Yesterday my relative was out at a doctor's appointment, so I called Landry Home Decorating and spoke with Mary. I explained the situation, and asked if they might have some time either Monday (yesterday) or Weds (when Eleanor would also be away from the house) to put a new insert in the cushion while I waited. Mary checked to see if they had the right materials and enough time to complete the job. Then she said if I wanted to, I could come in right away. So! I snatched the seat cushion off the comfy chair and hopped in the car. Mary arranged for someone to take the cushion and do the work while I waited. I browsed their extensive "library" of upholstery fabric sample books, and before I knew it, the cushion was ready! Really, it couldn't have taken much more than 15 minutes, 20 at the most. I had paid while the cushion was being worked on, so as soon as it was ready, I dashed out the door for home. Luck was with me, I was able to get in and get the cushion back in place before Eleanor made it upstairs and headed for her chair. It was a nice surprise for her. So, thank you to John Landry, and Mary, and the helper who put the new insert into the cushion. You were all friendly, helpful and efficient, and really made my day. I'm attaching a picture of Eleanor in her chair, after the cushion was put back in place. She's a happy camper! Thanks again for helping make this happen."

"Excellent work, done quickly. I felt comfortable that the work was being done right and by professionals."

"It went great Brian is very knowledgeable and very polite he was on time every time we met. He stopped through to check out the space gave me some great information since he was very knowledgeable about the floors and we had a nice extensive conversation about what the best solution was for me. I am very pleased with his work would Highly recommend"

"The grout around the old 4-inch tiles in our little bathroom could not handle the use from 5 people. It was always so hard to clean—beyond help. I couldn’t stand it but I didn’t want a big extensive job because we hope to do a bigger renovation someday. Joe was responsive and listened to what I wanted: nothing fancy—just a solution for now that will be functional and easy to maintain. I don’t like when people try to upsell and there was none of that with Joe. Treating the tiles and installing the tub surround was the right solution for us and he came within a few days. I called him because he was recommended on my community Facebook page so I feel confident. Nice guy and I would definitely call him again. Price was good and I really appreciate that he listened to what I wanted. He told us everything is guaranteed and if we have any issues to call him right away and not try to take care of it ourselves. I doubt there will be issues but it feels good to know that I don’t have to hesitate to call. He also told me how to take care of the surround (no scrubbing! Yay!) and thanked me for the opportunity to work on our bathroom. :)"

"He came out the same day. The service was amazing. There was a patch cut out of the carpet due to water damage. When he completed the job within an hour it looked brand new. I highly recommend him and his company."

"They were excellent to work with giving us a complete detailed estimate for each of our 3 projects including all of our allowances. Including agreed upon payments schedules for each. They communicated schedules and any adjustment to those schedules, which were all minor. They cleaned at the end of each day of work to keep the dirt down to a minimum. As we did 3 different projects, each with their own contract, if we had not been happy with the first or second we obviously would have not continued to work with them. Friends of ours recommended Superior K&B and we are completely satisfied with their work, including their selected sub-contractors."
