"I recently purchased a home and the previous owner had left lots of junk in the detached garage. The items were also wet from previous rains (not flooding). The junk was a collection of garage items, carpet, lumber, and concrete patch. At first I was going to wait until the City of Houston heavy trash to dispose the junk, but I realized that I had too much stuff, and it would be too difficult to haul the junk to the curb by myself. I called 1-800-JUNK and was surprised that I could get a haul-away scheduled within 2 hours! I received 2 more callback from the local Houston office (the first call went to a national call center, I think), to confirm the pick up time. <br /> The truck arrived with two strong guys. They estimated the volume to be 1/4 of a trunk.  I said, "go for it." In less than 10 minutes, everything was put away in the trunk. I paid with credit card and received a receipt immediately in my email. <br /> The entire was SO easy. The customer service was fantastic and I felt comfortable that the guys knew what they were doing. I will definitely use them again in the future. <br />"

"<p>Overall:  Outstanding, good-value service.  Details: They sent me an "on the way" text about 20 minutes before the scheduled appointment time.  Arrived on time.  Two man crew. I had purchased a special one-half pickup sized haul-away deal, but had more stuff than that that I wanted removed, if possible.  The two men said that if I wanted, they'd load everything I wanted taken away and at the end, tell me the extra cost, if any.  I decided to accept that offer.  The total amount of stuff loaded in the truck was about one full pickup load, and the extra cost was $40.  I was perfectly OK with that. The two men were professional, courteous, hard-working, and fast.  I definitely recommend Junk King East Houston to anyone needing household junk removed, and will use them again if I need major junk items removed.</p> <br />"
