"I bought a gas stove, fridge, front-loading washer, and dryer at Home Depot. Home Depot provides free delivery and basic installation for regular priced and some sale merchandise, but I bought all four of these on clearance. I got a GREAT buy, but all I could get out of HD was and quot;curbsideand quot; delivery. So I had the HD delivery guy, who was a good guy, put the appliances in my garage. <br /> So - then I had to find someone else to move the appliances into the house and put them where they belong, and to remove the old appliances. It was surprisingly difficult to find someone willing to do that, but when I called Chad at Tanner 6 he was very accommodating. <br /> Chad and Frankie arrived promptly and gave me a quote that seemed fair, so I agreed and they started right away. I live in an old house in the Woodlawn neighborhood and the doors aren't real big so it was a more difficult job than I expected. But Chad and Frankie know their stuff and they got everything moved around with a minimum of fuss and no complaining. <br /> They also took the old fridge, washer, and dryer over to my rental property and hauled away the pallets that HD used for their curbside delivery. They also hauled away the old range and another old range that was taking up space in the garage. <br /> All in all, I have no regrets. I don't recommend buying appliances on clearance at Home Depot unless you are willing to forgo the convenience of their regular delivery service. But if you end up with great buys on clearance merchandise like I idd, I recommend Chad Tanner to complete the delivery. <br /> My experience with Tanner 6 may be a bit out of the ordinary, but I fully expect that they do everything with the same energy and dedication that they used to move my oversized new appliances into my quirky old house. <br /> BTW if you shop at HD in Mishawaka for appliances, try to find Pammy. She strikes just the right balance between no-nonsense and being helpful. By that I mean she helps you decide what you want without trying to influence you. She supports your decisions rather than trying to steer you in some direction that suits her more than it suits you. She's like your grandmother in a flannel shirt. You'll like her. <br /> <br /> <br />"
