"<p>I came in and I was in distress one evening and they told me they could be out first thing in the morning. And they were! Very reliable!</p> <p>The pricing was great.</p> <p>That's my plumber! I've always used them for my well pump but I am thinking of using them in the future for plumbing. I had someone else put in my heat pump and they offer a maintenance server where they come out twice a year check on everything you get a discount on any work that needs to be done. Even though I have been using them for the heat pump since I had it installed, since seeing the guy who worked on the well pump, I would rather him do the work in my house!</p>"

"when tech showed up the dryer seemed to be working and heating however it did not when I called, seemed the heating element was cracked creating and off and on working condition. I went ahead to repair the problem by purchasing a new heating element. I was surprised however that the tech expected me to pay in full before he ordered the part and repaired the problem, but I did using my credit card knowing if there was a issue the credit card co. would have my back, The part was order and Alex fixed it as soon as it came in and was great"

"JD was a wonderful find. He is friendly, flexible, and <br /> focused. I had retired from teaching in Brooklyn, NY to share a house with my <br /> mother, and there were times when we needed skilled hands to help us with some <br /> of the refurbishing tasks. He did all kinds of jobs for us, including painting (bathrooms <br /> and porch furniture), hanging wall art and a stained glass window, replacing <br /> doors, assembling a new bed with heavy head and footboards, replacing rotted <br /> wood on exterior window frames, assembling other furniture pieces, and too many <br /> other small tasks to mention.  He made my <br /> transition much easier, and I will continue to contact him for any other needs <br /> that we might have. He is a very competent handyman. <br /> <br /> <br />"

"This company did an excellent job waterproofing our basement.  We recommend them to everybody.  We haven't had a lick of water since they finished our basement about five or six years ago.  Before they came out we used to have up to four inches of standing water in our basement after a hard rain."

FAQs for sump pump repair or replace projects in Brent, AL

Sump pumps last about 10 years with proper maintenance and prompt repairs. Several factors can influence your sump pump’s lifespan, such as usage, environmental conditions, and installation. Premium sump pumps with heavy-duty motors and quality components tend to last longer than lower-cost models. Pedestal sump pumps usually last longer than submersible models since they’re not constantly exposed to water.

A basement French drain is a drainage system installed in basements or around a building’s foundation to redirect water and prevent flooding. This system features a trench with a perforated pipe that catches and transports water away. These systems can crack, freeze, or clog, potentially resulting in flooding or strain on your sump pump.

You can use a sump pump in your yard to minimize pooling water and landscape damage, but it’s best used in conjunction with other drainage systems. This can include French drains, trench drains, underground downspouts, and other equipment. Proper lawn care, such as soil aeration and native plants, also aids with drainage.
