Both providers measured the same areas, but Artistic Stone measurements came to four additional inches. I find aforementioned strange. Lastly, Artistic Stone's special is for 30 square feet, so the additional inches are potentially $40.00 dollars each additional inches, and the material will be quartz, not granite."

"<p>I highly recommend Custom Stone By Frank.  Small family run company, easy to work with, accommodated my work schedule.  Frank came to template the counters on a Tuesday and installed the next Monday.   They removed the old kitchen counters, windowsill  and backsplash, disconnected (unscrewed) the sink, and  replaced my kitchen counters, backsplash and windowsill with granite counters.  Gave me a new sink too.   I had looked around at several granite yards before I found Custom Stone.  I had an idea of what colors I wanted. Trish took me out to look at their granite selection.  Found just what I wanted.  It was a small job (@38 square feet) in a 65 year old house.    The install went well.  Replacing anything in an older home leads to surprises.   There was a problem with fitting the windowsill.  They recut it and came back to install it.   No muss, no fuss.   I had lined up a plumber who came that afternoon to connect the sink and put in a new faucet.   No downtime in the kitchen ? I couldn?t have asked for anything more.  Great work for a good price. </p> <br />"
