"From start (work estimate) to finish my experience with Arid was as good as could be expected. Their field workers did a great job installing the French Drain and sump pumps. Actual work was done mid-July 2018. Unlike 2 other estimates I rec'd, Arid provided me with specific(written) information as to what I should expect during the job and after. They also laid out what we needed to do as homeowners to lessen the impact of the dust that was to be created. "I posted an initial review on 2/21/19 on a job done on 1/11/19 to fix groundwater from coming into our basement. The drainage system and sump they installed was not collecting all the water that was coming in, as we had leaking from several areas along an uneven rock ledge. I had reached out to our salesperson by phone and email and never heard back, so I was very frustrated. About 3 weeks after I posted the review, I did get a call from Jeff Allen, one of the supervisors. To make a long story short, he sent out one of their waterproofing specialists to look at the problem. We had already hired an independent mason to try to remedy the problem but he had not yet had a chance to do the job. Jeff convinced me that CT Basement systems would do absolutely whatever it took to fix my water problem. I cancelled the independent mason. Danny, a mason from CT Basement Systems came out and used a very ingenious method to divert all the water to the originally installed water guard trough and then to the sump. It is working beautifully!! I think Danny is a genius and I am so impressed and thankful for Jeff's perseverance and kindness in making this happen. I am now a very happy customer."

"I had a leak in my water main. We did not know the origin. Sean, the owner came and spend several days exploring the options to repair the leak. It was finally determined the leak was under the foundationand it would be easier and cheaper to replace the whole line. (it was always sprining a leak and needed to be replaced.) He worked very hard to resolve the issue as quickly and economically as possible. He and his workers were a great to work with. Gold star all around."

"Hired G&R to fix up my deck, stain it, and paint a shed. The work involved replacing all of the horizontal hand rails, and tightening the floor boards. G&R stained the entire deck by hand (including the lattice work). Gave me a good price and stayed with that price. The deck was 35 years old, but you couldn't tell by looking at it now. My neighbor hired them to do some landscaping work after seeing them work on my property. Willie was easy to work with. Would definitely hired them again."

"My sewage ejector pump in basement would not stop running and I was looking to replace it. I texted Dean two pictures of the pump, he was able to give me a quote over text and the price was quite reasonable. He received a new pump on 5/22/2023 and came over to my house. After opening up the old pump and checking, he told me that the only thing that is really broken is the check valve, the switch got stuck but is still functioning, and the pump itself works fine. I ended up asking him to only replace the check valve and the switch and this saved me about $1000 from the original plan. I appreciate Dean's honesty, professionalism, and a job well done."

His thoroughness and attention to detail are outstanding. I am confident when I recommend him to my clients. He has even performed his services on my property, installing a septic tank and fields. The septic tank was under a manicured landscaped area with pavers, stone walls, and steps between my house and garage, with very limited access. He actually built a ramp for the machines to traverse the stone wall to access the site.
