"They had a great selection of granite, marble, and quartz to choose from. I took one of my kitchen tiles with me and actually found a granite that matched the colors in my kitchen tile exactly. Danielle was VERY helpful and knowledgeable in the shop, and was able to give me an estimate right there and then since I had done some crude measurements on my own and brought them with me. The price was great that was given to me on the estimate, but the actual price ended up being a few hundred dollars lower since they re-adjusted the total based on their exact measurements.

The gentleman that came out to create the template was very professional and knowledgeable of the equipment he was using to create the template. Danielle sent me a picture of the actual granite and how they proposed to cut it, and lay it out. I actually had input as to how it was to be cut before it was actually done. However, they chose a great layout and I didn't need to make any changes. We set a date to have it installed about a week later, and they were on time, and did a great job on the installation too. I would definitely recommend them.
"

"My wife picked out a piece of granite from their stock, including the particular section from the sheet, and that piece was delivered. The installers showed up about an hour and a half late, but they called twice to keep us informed of the situation. We were the last install of the day and earlier jobs took longer than planned. When they arrived we determined that we wanted the stone installed a half inch different than shown on their plans. They made the change per our request. They worked late without complaint and performed quality work. I have to give a and quot;Cand quot; for punctuality because they were late, but I do appreciate their communicating their delay and willingness to work late.
"

"They were very thorough in confirming our requirements before fabricating, worked with us on our changing installation schedule, and completed the installation quickly and professionally; confirming that we were 100% satisfied with the installation before leaving. We had some etching problems a few weeks following the initial installation and they sent a crew out to polish out the etches and re-sealed the counters. They stand by their work"

"Laura is so easy to get along with. Lets me email her with my plans, she draws them up, emails them back, gets it into production and a few days later it's ready for install. It's always perfectly cut and fits accurately. I will continue to call on them in the future if I ever need more rock.
"

"My wife and I wanted new hard woods in our house but had very specific requirements that we could not typically find locally. My wife wanted a dark floor while I wanted extreme durability in a natural hard wood. We did our homework and decided that Brazilian Walnut (Ipe) most closely matched what we wanted.
After looking locally for something that fit the bill, the flooring we found was either over $12 sq/ft (too expensive) or not dark enough. I started searching on-line and ran across Brazilian Direct. Their prices seemed reasonable (a bit over $6 sq/ft for what we wanted) and they even had a tinted (dark) version of the floor we liked.
After several weeks of questions and further research, we decided to place an order. We we worked with a representative named Sannon who helped us every step of the way. She sent us samples, instructions, guides - everything to make us more comfortable about our eventual order. Our order came right on schedule and the wood was really beautiful. After several weeks of the required acclimation we had a local installer put the floor down. They did an excellent job and we really love our floor. There was very little waste and in fact we had at least 3 boxes left over.
I highly recommend Brazilian Direct. We are considering using them again for a deck project we'd like to do in the future.
"

"He came out and gave me an estimate. He was excellent. I was very impressed. His estimate was good but it was just a matter of choosing between two equally good people."

"Easy shopping and good selection. Showroom associates were knowledgeable. Prices were almost the same everywhere I shopped. There were several weeks between installs due to some issues with our kitchen island. They were understanding with that scheduling.
After the fact I wish a template had been made as the counter does not sit flush against the wall as this in an older home. First installer had to put adhesive in the seam. He evidently spread this with a dirty finger as the the seam in this bright white stone shows this. I mention this so future countertop customers will not feel embarrassed to ask the installer to wash before this step.
Second installer was the true pro in their staff. He had to make a very small and intricate cut for a downdraft fan and did it very well. I will be asking for him when it's time for the bathroom counters.
"

"I have used several Granite Gold products and like their effectiveness because they do what they are supposed to do. No strong fumes or irritating skin problems. The granite counter top daily cleaner and polish are so easy to use (spay it on and wipe with a paper towel) to keep all your stone products clean and shiny. I was surprised to see how effective the grout cleaner is. I sprayed it on some dirty tire floors in the bathroom and let it sit for a couple of minutes. Then I went over it with the scrub brush they provide. It looked clean then, but when it dried, it was much brighter. This is a 40 Year old bathroom tile floor pictured. Granite Gold also provides excellent professional support."
