"I was cleared that I did not need the thermostat. They are the one's you can hook up to your i phones. I didn't need that. I am at home. The humidifier does not humidifier adequately in the winter. The first guy that came out I really loved. When they got the sense that I trusted them, they sent out another guy that sold me a bill of good. I am not happy with them. Stuff that they put in. It was very very expensive. All the guys that work for them are great. I loved the guys they work for. The management people that make the commissions, sold me stuff that I didn't need. It was expensive. It didn't do the job that I needed it to do. That was very good. Very good. Every time I called, they came out. Very punctual. They are not close to me. They got here. They let me know where they were. No complaints about that either. Except for that one guy that screwed me over, they were professional. "I had two systems to replace. they sent out two crews to work them in parallel. The first thing they did was put down tarps inside the house, even on the stairway. It was a rainy day, but they did not make any mess inside the house. They left the furnace room cleaner then they found it when done. The outdoor units were leveled very nicely. They did a nice job of taking out the old units and putting in the new. They did a great job of taping everything to seal in the air flow. The work crew were all very nice, willing to answer my questions, never made me feel like I was slowing them down. They treated me like a customer that they wanted to keep happy. They have a great guarantees that show they stand behind their work. I believe the price that I got was competitive. Not the lowest,, but close, and they just made me feel more comfortable with the likely hood that they will be around another 20 years t service these systems, and they had the better warrantees and labor deals. One thing they do is to put all the units into pans and attach water sensors which will cut off the units if they overflow for some reason. Since the old units had a couple issues like that, I really liked that extra touch for even the basement one (the attic unit is required to have the pan.) They also have the nice drains which have the cutoff if the drains clog up. They were done in about 6 hours, including cleanup. And wow, are these new carrier units substantially quieter than the old TRANE ones. Since they are close to the master bedroom window, that is important. Wish I had changed them sooner.
