"The positive: Graves Brothers will provide a quote for PARTIAL Siding projects where most companies won't talk to you unless you need a FULL Siding project. The installation team was quick and did a nice job. The Cons: Deceptive Sales. Your Typical Residential Home Services contactor. I had a complete east side siding replacement quoted. There is a 24" "Jog wall" between the exterior garage wall and the living quarters wall. Their quote included photos that show this wall in one of the views. A second photo shows the entire length of the wall outlined that includes this jog wall, but they did not replace the siding on this wall. A conversation BEFORE the project work started questioned if I intended on having the wall replaced and it was agreed that it should have been part of the proposal. The installers DID NOT replace the siding on this wall. I asked for a simple $500 credit and was willing to settle for a $350 credit which was more than fair. The Salesman insisted that seeing the wall was not assigned a "wall number" therefore it was not included in their proposal. Graves Brothers displayed ZERO interest in coming to a mutual agreement on the discrepancy. Update 7/19/2024: After continued conversations, the Sales Rep finally conceded that after speaking with his installers, that the work WAS included in the initial estimate and should have been completed. I gave Graves Brothers the option of discounting the price or returning to finish the work. They chose to finish the work which is scheduled this week. IMO, Speaking to his installation team should have been done PRIOR to him taking a flat stance with me that they were right and I was wrong. Give Graves Brothers Home Improvements a 3-Star rating for (finally) doing what was right. The installation was done well and the installers were professional, courteous and cleaned up well. Just make sure you document all conversations and get them in writing up front."

"Took advantage of an elderly woman, told her to sign an estimate but had her sign contract and loan paperwork. A normal $12K roof cost her $30K when all is said and done. Never gave her the paperwork and refuse now to help in any way shape or form. DISGUSTING, BAD ETHICS"

"This company was a complete disaster. They supposedly re-installed our flat roof and was paid in cash immediately after they were done. It was a never-ending nightmare; the workmanship was subpar, with multiple leaks appearing shortly after their supposed 'fix.'. The plywood, beams and ceiling underneat the deck/flat roof rutted; part of the ceiling fell off. I tried to get them to come back and address the issues, they were unresponsive and uncooperative. Avoid this company at all costs! Run away from them as fast as possible."

"Most overpriced roofing company around. It's laughable the quotes I was given by these guys vs. the other roofers I spoke with. Combine that with the fact I was warned about how they are quick to go the half-a** route when encountering a problem vs. actually doing the right thing and solving the problem. I've heard many accounts of this company just throwing up flashing and tar over a problem area of a roof instead of taking off the bad old roof and fixing it the correct way. People please get MANY MANY quotes for MANY different companies and you will quickly see that Proctor is a rip-off artist."
