I've been working with a contractor for six plus years. During that time we did all sorts of jobs from faucet change outs to roof patching I have learned alot i that time. Anything that has to do with homes. l'm good at what I do.

"Apollo and his crew showed up on time. This was a mobile home front door and wanted to replace it with a standard house door and add a Larson retractable screen storm door so had to open the door way height and width. The crew worked all day even during lunch there was someone working. The door was completed that day. I had to go purchase the Larson door and they came back the next morning finish the job. The crew and Apollo were professional and polite. The finished product turned out great. I will hire again for any more jobs that I need done."

The service was delivered within the time frame given. All of my questions were answered via phone or email and the paperwork was seamless and the price was very reasonable."

"Not all that good. You had a follow up thing which was rigged so that there was no way to answer the question correctly, so that's why I didn't give you a follow up before. I called for this $39 tune up I got sold a replacement of the springs. Well the springs was broken that's fine of course I would have called her out and got other prices had I had not had a sales man in my face pushing me to do this for $700 which Sears did for $360 it turns out. So I was not real happy with it now of course he did put in the deluxe spring and I looked that up on the web and that was about $60 extra ?so the Sears job would have been over $400 but that's still less than $700 and I didn't have an opportunity to call around with this guy there giving me that so I wasn't real happy with the deal. He did the job competently all of that was competently done so I was happy with that but I wasn't happy with paying $700 for a $400 job."

"After purchasing a 3 year old home from the builder I discovered untreated pine was used on all outdoor wood areas of the house all of which needed to be replaced. Not only did Gary identify the problem areas and replace the wood with cedar, he came up with ideas on how to protect the new wood from water flowing off of the house. I watched him paint all surfaces of each piece of wood with sealant and again with paint. He was as concerned about the integrity of my house as much as he would have been if it where his own house. Gary discovered evidence of fraud on the part of the builder and reported it to me. This caused a two month delay in construction at Gary's expense. Anyone other contractor would have ignored the evidence of fraud in order to expedite the conclusion of the project. I've handled many construction projects in my life but Gary is the first contractor I've ever worked with that I could truly call a friend."

He responded within a few hours of my original email and I am thankful for his quick, professional response which allowed me to move forward with other vendors. <br />"

"Individual who came out to get estimate was timely and friendly.  Good communication through e-mail and phone up until day of start.  There was no mention from the company that I had to be present when work began.  When the crew arrived to begin work, the lead called me and wanted details of what he was supposed to do.  It seemed as though he had no idea where to begin which was a surprise to me since I explained everything in detail to the estimator.  All the work was also detailed in the estimate.  I asked the lead to call his boss to ask about the details which seemed to go OK. <br /> Overall, the work was acceptable.  They did not replace some of the siding we agreed upon in the estimate, which was not disclosed to me fully.  I had to ask them.  They stated it was not replaced since the siding was not rotten.  Estimate is the estimate and I am sure that if any additional work was needed they would have charged me more.  Finally, they agreed to take some off the final price.  I guess it did leave negative thoughts from the entire experience that they were not forthcoming. <br /> There were a few minor issues that I should have asked them to fix but didn't.  They did not replace the window trim in the same design as the rest of the house.  Also, I should have inspected their work a little more closely.  To be fair, the company did ask if everything was acceptable and I said yes.  There were a few pieces of siding that were not flush that I had to fix on my own. <br /> The exterior painting and caulking was really good.  No complaints there. <br /> Overall, I am glad the project is over and the previous wood rot is gone.  I could have done a better job myself with more attention to detail, but the wall was too high and required more than one person.  If you do choose this company, I would be present when they initially start the work to explain what should be done.  Also, please inspect the work closely after they are done and ask them to fix. <br />"
