"the finished product looks nice, but I was bothered that it took so long to fabricate. We had a large remodeling firm managing the project, and they were the ones that managed it with Old World Stone.
I was disappointed the Old World Stone would not honor their Angie's List coupon for my order, because the remodeler was managing the order.. But I am the customer and I am an Angie's List member, So I feel they should have allowed me to use the coupon.

"Brian and his son arrived at our house on time. They immediately removed their shoes without being asked. They quickly got to work restoring our counters. Our home is only 5 years old but the water is so hard even with a softener that we had a horrible mineral build-up on the counters around the sink and faucet area.
We have a granite counter in the kitchen that was very dull and had completely lost its shine around the sink. Also the calking between the counter and backsplash was separating. Brian repaired the counter and it looks brand new! The granite shines again, the faucet shines, and the calking is perfectly invisible.
The marble counter in our master bathroom was a mess. We had terrible etching, water rings, and spots. The calking between the counter and backsplash was separating. There was a mineral build-up on the faucets that I wasn't able to clean off. Again Brian returned the counter and faucets to their original glory. The marble is so shiny, better than when we moved in. He removed all of the hard water stains from the faucets and the calking is completely perfect. Everything looks so amazing!
I would highly recommend Brian to anyone wanting their stone counters repaired and resealed. He did a fantastic job! Well worth it.

"I will say they are slow to return calls but Gil and Matt did a great job cleaning and sealing several sections of original tile in my  1990 home on the East Side.  The entry way was pretty stained and though some of the tiles were broken, Matt did a nice job cleaning and keeping the tiles in place.  We chose not to try to replace them because they were not in bad shape other than cracked and were original.  The file place hearths looke much better afterward.  The first time he sealed one, it did not set up properly.  Matt came back quickly to repair the work.  I also liked that he took the time to explain to me the tools they use to clean up the tiles.

Oftentimes, he will meet me at the actual tile vendor to pick out the materials. He tries to find competitive pricing as well. If the job is more specific, he lays out the tile first for us to see and approve. He is always on time, and I trust him in my home.

He provided excellent explanations of why we had the problem and the best ways to fix it and a quote on site. The only reason we did not hire him for this job was a mismatch of our schedules. We used someone else who was available a little earlier. We have used Jeff in the past for two other jobs and have no qualms at all about hiring him again.
