He also gave us advice on ongoing care of the floors, which was helpful. His crew was friendly and worked hard to help us meet our deadline. They also did a good job cleaning up after themselves. They removed old carpeting, leveled the old floor, and then installed new luxury vinyl. They showed up as scheduled and finished the job in one day. Floor looks amazing! "They didn't do the gas part. I had to get my own gas guy to disconnect and connect the gas part. They were very prompt and responsive and everything. What I liked is, they accommodated me. They were very prompt and they knew my situation because I had a tenant waiting to move in. So they really did it real fast. In that sense, they really accommodated me. Their documentation was not really professional. It was just a simple e-mail. Even though they put it into a lot of heads, it could have been more professional and broken down. They did an excellent job of installing 1100 square feet of hardwood in my apartment, and they did it on the time-table that they promised. "I did not like the job timing. The workers showed up on a Friday at 6:00 P.M. to start the job of removing the old floor. The returned Saturday morning to complete the installation of the new floor. Although it was an excellent job done with very good materials I did not appreciate it taking two days instead of the one day promised by the salesman. Also you have to pay for the warranty, in reality Empire does not warranty anything. The workers did do a professional job in every respect Empire should limit their work load so they don't arrive so late to start a job."
