"DMV Kitchen and Bath RECOMMENDATION 2023 March In December 2022-January 2023, DMV Kitchen and Bath completely gutted and rebuilt 2 bathrooms for me (foundation, pipes, electric – everything). In addition, they restored several 110 year-old door transoms, installed new doors (5 panel solid wood) throughout the house, upgraded some woodwork, installed two pocket doors, and painted a few rooms. We used high quality materials throughout, not builder-grade. This is the third time I’ve asked DMV Kitchen and Bath to do a major renovation in one of my properties over the last 10 years. "John E. Ruth company remodeled our basement bathroom several years ago (about $7000). They completely gutted the old bathroom and rebuilt it from scratch. The work they did was first-rate and the bathroom still looks beautiful. <br /> After superstorm Sandy, we had them come back and install a water-powered backup sump pump as well as cleaning and lining our old sump and replacing the old electric pump. The backup has worked flawlessly on the few occasions when the power was out and it came on. <br /> However, last week, there was a problem with the pipe leading from the main sump pump. Over time and with much use, the coupling worked itself loose. Fortunately, John E. Ruth sent out a plumber, Charlie, within an hour after I called them and he came up with a permanent fix to the problem. <br /> The supervisor (Jim Arnold) agreed that we did not owe them anything for this repair because they had originally installed the backup pump. <br /> Overall, we have been very pleased with the work they have performed and they stood behind their work when it counted. Also, they responded very quickly to our emergency. We would definitely use John E. Ruth plumbing again.  <br />"

From the initial consultation to final walkthrough everything went smoothly and pretty seamlessly. Erkay is a fabulous project manager and was available onsite daily to assist Ismar and team as well as field any questions (even by text). Ismar and his team tackled everything from demo, tub installation, tile, plumbing, countertop installation, cabinet installation, hardware installation PERFECTLY. Those are some of the hardest working guys I have ever seen. I was impressed daily. Everything turned out amazing, we can’t wait to have them back to do another bathroom. Highly recommend. Cost is about on point with what it should be."
