"We dealt with the owner Frank Vaughan and my wife and I am were extremely pleased with the results of all the work we had done. Our original patio, which was almost 40 years old, was coming apart and we needed our patio re-graded and new pavers installed. We also decided to have installed a built-in BBQ within an island on the patio. Prior to the start of the job, (approximately one month) we met Frank at his showroom and we picked out the pavers and the granite for the island. Frank said he would arrange for the plumbers, electricians, and granite company to come and do their jobs which was great as we didn't have to call or coordinate with them on our own. Frank promised the job would start in early April (weather permitting) and it was. It only took a few days to remove the old brick "pavers" from our patio and install new pavers after re-grading. As soon as the new pavers were installed the island was then installed with the built-in BBQ. While this was going on we also hired Frank to level some of our slabs of our front sidewalk, as we had recently lost trees, and the town removed them, but left the tree roots. Again, a seamless job and the sidewalk slabs are like new and everything is level. Frank's employees worked efficiently and long hours. After each day, Frank called us to discuss what was done and if we had any concerns. I would highly recommend Frank and his company, Scenic View Landscaping and Design Specialists, and would hire him again in a heartbeat."

"When I informed the company about errors in their work they were reluctant to make the changes without further compensation. They did a good job with the installation of my front steps until they got to the top landing where they put in a rough finish. After some discussion that error was corrected. The owner indicated that with the construction of my garden wall there would have weep holes. When I checked the wall when it was almost completed, there were no weep holes. He then tried to rationalize why that was the better option. My rain spout had to be removed so that they could install stucco on the rear of the house. When they placed the spout back on the wall they did not use the brackets to secure it to the wall in fact I found them in my backyard on the ground. I mention to them that the brackets were not installed and was assured that the spout was secure. I held on to the brackets nonetheless. A few months later a piece of aluminum behind the gutter slid partially down between the rain spout and the house wall revealing a gaping hole below the gutter above where the stucco installation ended. I sent a photo with a text message asking for the company rep to come and make the needed repairs. We areanged for a mutually convenient time a few days later. You guessed it, he insisted that their failure to secure the rain spout using the brackets was not the reason why the piece beneath the gutter became dislodged. I told him it never moved before their stucco installation. That's aside from the incomplete stucco work. He wouldn't secure the spout and do the stucco repair unless I paid more money. At that point I considered whether I wanted to start the process to get another contractor to complete their work or pay him more money to finish the repair. He came up with an estimate of how much it would cost to have 2 men doth work. I can assure you that they were not at my home anywhere close to the length of time he specified but I paid what was agreed upon. These are some of the reasons why I wouldn't recommend this company."

"Micheal was timely when he met with us to go over the work that we wanted to get done. A brick wall to give us privacy in the back of the house with a strip of paved flooring for our new outdoor grill and cabinets, front steps and paved pathway to the front entrance of the house. He was so patient and came up with a lot of great ideas such as adding out door multi color led strip lighting around the new wall and garage. Which adds a wonderful ambience to our outdoor entertaining. The price was fair and Micheal and his team were professional, worked precise and they take Pride in their Craft.
