All work was completed in only 2 days including a repair to my patio pavers. He is passionate and educated about what he does and makes sure you know how to maintain your landscape. Johns crew removed a tree stump for free just to improve the look of the project. All work exceeded my expectation!!!"

Both are easy to work with, knowledgeable, make lots of helpful suggestions so the project comes out even better than I had thought it would. You tell Paul what you want done, and he, and Gene in an advisory role, find a way to make it even better. They are flexible and just know how to find solutions. Their crews know what they’re doing. "RUN FAR AWAY FROM ALLIED AND TOM. Tom took my money and did not complete the renovations as per our contract. He lied about having a licensed electrician to do electrical work, it was just one of his workers who's not licensed. I paid for a dumpster and when it was delivered by tom it was already half full from another allied job and I was asked to pay the full amount of $950. Tom didn't listen to anything I said regarding the work I requested and he changed my design and did work that was cheaper for him. I was priced for one of my ceiling's to be ripped out and reinstalled with new sheetrock, Tom waited until I was away on business then he installed sheetrock on top of the bad sheetrock and told me he ripped out the old sheetrock and installed the new sheetrock, I found out when my EC cut holes to install lights and we found 2 layers of sheetrock preventing the lights from being able to be installed. Allied construction is a cheap, sneaky company who will steal your money and breach your contract. Do not hire these people Tom is a lair. Tom wore a gun in my house on his hip and told me "I use this to get paid by customer who don't want to pay". Tom left live 120v wires hanging out of the walls and ceiling, he removed a banister and didn't replace it for 3 weeks making my home very unsafe for me and my 9 year old son."

"Although this review is way overdue, time has not diminished how completely happy I am we went with Star22 for our main bathroom renovation & our from scratch new bathroom in our basement and relocated our washer/dryer to an area we turned into a laundry room. Let me tell you, I am a very particular person! The details matter to me and I was so nervous taking on multiple projects. From beginning to end, Bernie/Tim put me at ease & delivered! Above and beyond! Amazing customer service - we were made to feel like we were the only client & the only project they had. The PM Jalmer was great - and my rockstars - the two Henrys did HIGH QUALITY work! Everyone was hardworking, attentive & any of my questions or concerns were addressed immediately. They obtained the permits & everything was done properly & up to code (passed all inspections!) THANK YOU SO MUCH!! Oh and they kept the promised timeline - no delays or issues. INCREDIBLE! Would recommend and would ABSOLUTELY use again. I LOVE my 2 new bathrooms so much!!"

"Mark took a deposit from me and then never followed up on submitting the proposal I signed to my co-op and getting approval. Finally almost a year later, I asked for the deposit back, and he said he would mail immediately after briefly trying to convince me to still let him do the job, because it was simply "out of sight out of mind". That was 2 years ago. I'm filing a small claims case against him/the company tomorrow."
