"Waxtel LLC did a major renovation on my co-op on Sutton Place South. The renovations included new bathrooms, new kitchen, painting, floor restoration and a host of other repairs and renovations. The Company is excellent and I would highly recommend them. Besides the excellent workmanship, the owner, Dave Waxtel, was extremely responsive to all issues. I have dealt with contractors many times, and I would say Waxtel is the best one I have ever used. Moreover, the price was reasonable and fair. You will not be disappointed if you hire them. "We interviewed and took bids from eight different contractors for our kitchen renovation. What impressed us immediately about David was his interest in the project and his suggestions for how to coordinate the finishes into a cohesive design. He paid attention to the details. Then his estimate came in and it was excellent. Not only that, but the work timeline was by far the shortest. Once the project began, we saw how organized and efficient the company was with their work schedule. Our neighbors approached us in the hallways to tell us how courteous and friendly his work crew was. This was our first major apartment renovation in a co-op building, so we were plenty nervous. David was calm and steady throughout the process. Whenever we had a question, he was available, and got us the answer. He was attentive to any request we had in order to have the project finished to our expectations. As with any major project, issues did arise, but David was very responsive and dealt with all of them to our satisfaction. They’re not only some of the friendliest people I’ve ever met, but also consummate professionals. They were always on time, and did quiet and clean work even in the demolition phase. "They came for the estimate. I recieved the estimate and was going to hire them for part of the work. However, I left multiple messages and my calls, text and emails were not returned. Guess they only want big jobs and $5300 in work is just a drop in the bucket to them. There should be a category for those Contractors who will only take jobs above a certain price range so we both don't waste our time."

"This was a small job, and Alex did it right. All I needed was my cellar door rehung, as it was uneven. It turned out to be a little more complicated than that, but Alex fixed it, and I am very pleased with how it no longer is uneven."
