"I had a great-experience today with the removal and installation of our new Chimney kit. Billy and Christian were the installation guys that showed up promptly at schedule time. For a two man team, they worked swiftly. Since they had to remove my old Chimney kit then install the new kit which was over three stories high I thought it'd take all day but they were extremely clean & professional. This team explained the entire process from start to finish. I'd recommend this company to anyone! They were so professional that the whole neighborhood came out to watch them work. If you go elsewhere it’s your own fault!"

"David and Zack came out to our house in December for a chimney cleaning and inspection. We knew we would be needing some degree of repair on our cap and pan, but David informed me that we had been fitted with the wrong size pan the whole time we have lived here and the damage was much more extensive than we anticipated. We were quite frustrated that no previous chimney service company brought the issue to our attention before the damage was done, but David put together a fair and comprehensive proposal to fix the chimney. Huge job that David and Zack’s crew, led by Jerry, got done a couple of days faster than quoted! Special shout out to Christine at the office for her speedy and super helpful communication! "I contacted this company because they were referred to me by my HVAC contractor and I had used them on a previous job. They were responsive to the request for services on Angie's list and we set up the appointment. The crew showed up on time, were polite and professional and performed the work quickly. They cleaned up after themselves. They suggested some additional work such as replacement of the duct in the bathroom that appeared to have some mold growing in it, and provided a quote but they did not do a 'hard sell' which I appreciated. They reduced the price of the duct cleaning because my system was brand new and I did not need cleaning of the coil or blower, and they also had a $50-off special at the time I scheduled services. I would hire them again."

"Excellent! Pete gave me a detailed overview of what he would be doing--confirmed start time and completed the project on time. This was particularly challenging as I had encaustic tile and old surrounds which required specific layouts and measures around old fireplaces and old mantles. He was courteous, professional, and very precise. I also had a brick foundation which needed to be filled in and an outside chimney which needed work and he did everything I needed. "We had discovered a very small leak in our MB closet and upon inspection found we had roofing issues. We had thought about patching the roof and Jerry was amicable with discussing our options and also provided a full replacement estimate. After debating with ourselves on which way to go we decided to have the entire roof replaced. Jerry's wife Pam is super to deal with and very customer oriented even though we changed our minds a couple of times during the intital "what to do" phase. Jerry and his crew showed up promptly bright and early on the day agreed upon. We have a very large roof with steep pitch and were doubtful his crew could finish the same day. They did finish the same day, cleaned up the yard, including debris and nails. The roof looks great! We have not found a single nail anywhere! "We unexpectedly had to replace our roof. Rod (owner) came to our home, inspected the roof and helped us come up with the best solution for replacing our roof. The installing crew was on time, worked very hard and did a great job including a thorough clean-up. Angela (assistant) handled the administrative tasks and was a pleasure to work with. "I wanted a certified and experienced professional to handle my new roof installation and I found him. Mr Hamby and his roofing crew got the job done right and exceeded my expectations. All of the materials used are of a higher quality than the original roof. When the old roof was removed he also found some rotted decking because the roofers that put on the original roof did not seal up their toe board holes. He fixed the decking and I am relieved that I do not have to worry about things like that with the roof he installed! I highly recommend Mr Hamby for a roof repair or entire roof replacement."

"Had a hole in my roof that I could see from inside the house (my insurance adjuster showed me). Called my insurance company first. They came out and suggested I get someone to patch the hole around my chimney. Called several roofing companies. This was the only company that agreed with my insurance company. One company actually pulled off one of the shingles to show me that I needed to have my roof replaced. My insurance company gave me a report on the roof damage and an estimate to repair. This was the only company that agreed with the insurance company's report. I did not discuss this with him prior and still didn't after i hired him. He was professional and courteous. "Everything went great.  This was not my first time to use Chimney Mischief as in February I had them to install a remote control for my fireplace.  Today Michael did the job and was knowledgeable, patient in explaining things to me, and overall did a fine job.  Jim Tutsock, the owner, has also come out when I needed some help with the remote.  Jim is responsive and stands behind all work done by his company.  After I had an unfortunate experience with another fireplace company (won't say the name but "Hat" is in the spelling), my son-in-law told me about his great experiences with Jim's company in installing two sets of gas logs and running gas lines in his home.  I should have consulted my son-in-law in the first place.  I will definitely use Chimney Mischief for all my future fireplace needs.  Thanks, Jim, Michael, and Joey! <br />"
