They also were able to complete the replacement on a tight schedule (for which we are so grateful!) and in the color we wanted, despite limited productions due to the pandemic. We have a multi-level, steep Tudor roof, and they had to remove old shingles and cedar shakes, so I know this was a complex project, and they did a great job. They were also great about communicating with us throughout the project. I also appreciated that they took care to carefully clean the yard and driveway as we have pets and young children. "So-so experience. Job was bid and performed in the depths of the recession - I think he priced it so low that he needed to cut corners. Plus: did job quickly, when scheduled. Old roof was removed with only medium amount of mess. New roof went on OK. He did an OK job installing a skylight in the new roof. Minus: He reused the old gutters, which I would not recommend anyone else do - they were pretty battered by the time they had been removed and replaced. Some of them still don't drain right. Here's the worst part: on the last day, one of his guys fell off the roof. My wife was in the dining room and saw him bounce off our back stairs and land on the grass. Fortunately, he didn't seem to be badly hurt, as he ultimately landed on boggy grass. However, Scheinfeld, when told about this, took more than an hour to show up, and the injured worker called us a few days later asking for our homeowner's policy info, thinking that we would be paying for his medical care - can you believe it? I run a small business and am very familiar with the concept of Workmen's Comp - no telling what was going on between Scheinfeld and his workers, but something seemed to be very, very wrong. A couple of our gutters still don't drain right, despite several calls to have them adjusted. But the roof no longer leaks."

"I needed a new roof to satisfy the Insurance company (my existing roof was 28 years old). Called Home Run Roofing at 5pm on Monday, scheduled the rep for the next morning. Thorough inspection of all roofing components, discussed price, color etc. They happened to have a cancellation on Friday (today). The work crew arrived and quickly dispatched the old roof, had the barriers in place, ridge vent installed shingles placed and total cleanup of the site by just after 2pm. Amazing!
