"Needed help installing a dryer vent through a brick wall... Didnt have the right tools to drill a 4 inch hole in bricks efficiently and decided to hire someone. I spent two hours trying to do this with minimal progress... told my wife I'd be laughing if the guy showed up and knocked it out in an hour. Franklin came out and drilled the hole for me in about 45 minutes for a reasonable price. He had all the right tools and made quick work of a task that would have taken me several hours and buying some new tools. Great work franklin!"

"Jay did wonders on all the projects we ended up doing. I called him for pressure washing and ended up going forward with having him paint my interior walls after asking if he could help and showed so much care and dedication to the process. Jay did wonders with the pressure washing, removing 5 year+ stains that no handyman or myself could previously remove. And then helped me pick the paint colors for the house, prepare the area for painting with covering furniture, did an amazing job with the painting, and even helped me put the area back together. I will 100% be calling him for all of my handyman needs in the future! He takes care of your job like it's for his own home! Don't hesitate to call!"

"EXCELLENT!!! Based on other reviews, I reached out to Paradise to troubleshoot an issue with flickering lights. I was shocked when Tim offered to troubleshoot the issue for free, despite estimating it could take 1.5-2 hours. Tim was prompt (even called to let me know he was running a few minutes late), wore a mask (COVID), was courteous, and determined the issue really quickly. He entertained answering all of my electrical questions, came up with the best path forward to resolving the issue, and provided a very reasonable quote for repairs. I will definitely be having him complete the recommended repairs! It is hard to find tradespeople like Tim in DC; available, knowledgeable, friendly, and, most importantly, a professional who takes pride in his work. If you have a need for an electrician, you must call Paradise Construction."

"The job was done in a timely matter with great attention to detail. On the things i care about, Gene was very accurate in setting up to be perfect. In the areas I wasn't sure about (shelving inside the new pantry), Gene helped give great advice. The project turned out very well, and exactly at the price. I had done another project with Gene that had run over cost due to design changes mid project, but this project was done exactly on budget with no surprises. Overall I was very happy with the work, responsiveness. When I needed the area cleaned up, even though the project was mid construction, his team was very accommodating. "We have used this contractor several times in the past and his service has recently been declining. This last time we were really disappointed. He quoted a price for the above work and completed about 75% of it. We paid him in full and then he did not come back. When we asked him when he was planning on finishing the work he was unresponsive. When we finally got in touch with him he said he was booked up for the next week and wouldn't be able to finish the work.  (He left a room unpainted, caulking incomplete, paint tape and tools out, and didn't power wash a door. We also had paint splatters from some painting that he did complete on a darker colored wall.) As I said before, he was usually very professional so this time we were disappointed. <br />"
