"I highly recommend Pellicore Concrete! My wife and I hired Pellicore to remove our 10' wide asphalt driveway and replace it with a widened 18' concrete driveway. The project also entailed demolition of our existing concrete porch, replacing it, adding a new front patio, and tying the porch and patio work into the new driveway. Joe Pellicore met with us and gave us estimates for the entire project, along with breaking down the project into its component parts with estimates for each. We went with the entire project. Joe worked with us on dates for the project, which ended up taking 4 days. Joe and his staff arrived on time every day and kept us informed through each step, making sure we were involved in final decisions. Once the project was poured the crew did an amazing job cleaning up and backfilling gaps between the lawn and the new porch and driveway. They did fantastic work! We love our new porch, patio, and driveway!"

They came on time as scheduled for both the quote (which was very fair for the work that needed done) and actual work start date. The work they did looks amazing, and they took care to make the new sections of mortar have the same style as the old sections on our beautiful Victorian. "We hired the king to build a brand new bedroom and remodel 2 other bedrooms and a bathroom. The work included installing new hardwood floors, electrical, drywall, painting, installing a window, and building new closets. Harry was great at setting up the initial consult and quickly gave us a quote. They got everything done in about 2.5 weeks which is what was quoted. Harry was very responsive throughout the whole process and easy to get a hold of. His crew was respectful and carful with our home and ensured they cleaned up every day. Bill was great and was able to complete the final task list of items we had for him before final walk thru. Our rooms came out fantastic and look great. Harry was also able to paint our master bedroom which was an add on request. "Matt and his associate acted professional the entire time they were in my home. They showed when expected. Matt instructed me on what he will be doing and what to expect from him. They answered a lot of questions. He helped me choose the grout and even offered to pick it up for me. They began work and cleaned up everything and took all trash when they left. "Two years ago we were looking to put in a patio in our backyard surrounding our pool.  It only had a 3-4' concrete surround, so not much sitting room at all.  We got bids from a half dozen contractors.  Half did pavers, half did stamped concrete.  Jeff was one of these original bids we got.  We ended up holding off that year, but last fall we were ready to move forward.  We kept Jeff's information, and ended up using him for the job.  We choose him over the other companies, for several reasons.  He was very easy to work with, and never rushed our decision or design choices.  He gave us input on the design, but also listed to what we wanted.  He took the time to drive us out to see sample jobs and different colors so that we would be happy with our final choice.  His pricing was very fair compared to the other bids we received.  The companies that came out with the cheaper quotes did not seem as professional, and I would not be comfortable with them to do this size of a job.  His pricing is very comparable to stamped concrete quotes, so going with real pavers was a no brainer.
Our job entailed ripping up a lot of existing poured concrete, removing several tons of stone and then putting down the 2000 sqft patio and walk ways.  We had a walk way put in leading from backyard to our driveway, and then from main patio to our walk out basement.  The crew cleaned up everyday, was right on schedule, and price came in as quoted.  No surprises at all.  This was a big job, and we are extremely satisifed with the work that was done.  We had a small draining issue and Jeff came out recently to fix it, and did not charge for the work.
I have since referred a couple friends to Jeff and they are equally satisfied with the work that was done.  We plan to use Jeff again as we look to do a couple more additions to our backyard over time.

"A year ago, I had estimates for this project and was unable to complete the project due to personal reasons.   I was on Angie's List in the Spring looking for something else and decided to re-visit this project.  The contractor I was going to use had several reviews stating how expensive the estimates were.  I saw some positive reviews for Carrero & Sons and gave them a call.  They promptly returned my call and were out to give me an estimate a few days later.  Mike, Jr. asked if I was looking for stamped concrete but based on my prior estimates stamped was not in the budget.  Mike explained that stamped is their specialty and they had all the templates and could be very competitive in this area.  In the end, I paid over $1800 less than my estimates from last year for a mix of stamped and white concrete. 

Rain in the spring led to the job being delayed but I received proactive calls to keep me informed as to where I was on the schedule.  This is one of the few times I have had someone call me before I called them!  Once we got started, again weather was a factor, but the communication was great and I always knew what to expect.  The finsihed results are wider, safer stamped steps and walkways, a new walkway to my houes, the replacement of a broken concrete walkway that now connects to a patio in the backyard.  All of this work was stamped.  They also replaced the driveway with white concrete.  Everything looks great.  They recycled some flagstones that were sunken and created a path for me and even cam back and replaced the wooden steps onto my patio that had seen better days.  I have gotten so many compliments, even envy from my neighbor who right before my project started replaced his driveway and was not thrilled with the finished result.  My drveiway is now proerply graded with water flowing away from the house and everything else looks lovely.  I highly recommend this company, a really nice family business that really cares about satisfying customers and doing quality work.  I would absolutely reommend Carrero & Sons and would use them again."
