"TCB paving did an excellent job on our driveway. From pulling up the old driveway to installing the new one, they were top notch. And, when we contacted them about a small issue, they were quick to come back and resolve it. I would hire them again!"

"Rowdy was quick to answer our request for an estimate to pave our driveway. Our project was on property we own one hour from Pittsburgh, Pa. and with no utilities. He met with me on a Sunday, gave his estimate and could do the job on Tuesday. We accepted his estimate and the job was completed on Tuesday. The crew was professional and efficient. We can not be more satisfied with the overall outcome of their work. I would highly recommend their company and would use them again."

"They were in the neighborhood doing another job and told me they could pave the gravel driveway at one of my rental properties. I had gotten prices a few years ago, and even given the time difference, they beat the price by almost $1,000. They did a good job prepping the area and put in an asphalt driveway the same day."

"I was one of three neighbors getting a resurface of an asphalt driveway. Todd provided excellent communication from beginning to end. He always responded in a timely fashion. He & the workers were courteous & listened to our concerns. We had a few minor issues after the work was initially completed, but they returned quickly & rectified all to our satisfaction. I would hire Todd & his crew again without hesitation."

"Mike Isbir walked the surrounding properties to determine the cause and source of the stormwater. The four man crew installed a catch basin at the back corner of the property with a 4-inch pipe underground connecting with a front yard stormwater pipe. They worked their way around large old trees with out damage which was impressive. The crew also added a swale filled with river rock across the side property line to capture and slow any additional water flow. The look is really a finished one. A second project was to eliminate water at the front of the house by raising the basement window wells, banking the beds with topsoil & mulch, and replacing limestone slabs & sealing the front porch. The entire project went like clockwork. They came when they said and were finished in two days. Mike Isbir and his crew are knowledgeable professionals. An excellent company!"

"Brian and his crew were very understanding of the issues from previous contractor and timeframe needed to complete the French drain, add driveway, add a wheelchair access and complete the deck to get my disabled sister into my place. They were very speedy and professional, and I cannot thank him enough for the prompt completion of the job! Brian has a heart of gold and will forever be my go to man❤️"

FAQs for asphalt paving installation projects in Brownsville, PA

Most driveways wrap up in roughly a week. Allow two to three days for installation, followed by an additional two to three days for the surface to cure. Concrete and asphalt follow this timeline, whereas a gravel job often finishes more quickly. Laying out the schedule upfront makes it easier to plan your week and your budget.

Sealer prevents water, salt, and UV rays from damaging the surface. Apply a fresh coat every one to three years, and you’ll slow down the growth of cracks, avoid pricey repairs, and keep the driveway looking sharp. A local professional can handle the job efficiently and ensure even coverage.

Material is the significant driver when it comes to the lifespan of a driveway. Asphalt stays strong for about 20 years, concrete lasts 30 to 40 years, and paver stones can last 50 to 100 years because you can swap out damaged bricks. With regular top-ups, a gravel drive can also reach the century mark. Knowing these timelines helps you map out long-term maintenance and replacement costs.

Repaving strips everything down and starts fresh, letting you change the layout or improve drainage before pouring new material. Resurfacing, on the other hand, adds a top layer over a solid base, giving you a facelift without the need for a complete demolition. Go with repaving when the base is failing; choose resurfacing when the structure is sound and you just need a new surface.
