"We hired Nick to insulate our garage door and get the attic door to close. He was able to do it at a reasonable price and did excellent work. I would hire him again for any home improvement work."

"The service was excellent! They arrived to pick up the vehicle a day earlier which was great. They delivered the vehicle right to my daughter's door and found a side street to unload. The service was delivered within the time frame given. All of my questions were answered via phone or email and the paperwork was seamless and the price was very reasonable."

"They were on time and very professional. They found the source of the leak, and gave me really good advice on what to do and who to call. They even fixed my front door that was sticking, swollen from the humidity. I wanted to pay them for the consultation or at least for fixing the door, but they didn´t charge me anything. These guys were so professional and honest! They went above and beyond by fixing my door! Their kindness speaks volumes about what a fair and ethical company these guys work for. Thank you! <br />"

"The crew did a great job stripping a vaulted popcorn ceiling, installing wood tile, painting and replacing trim in our living room. They were punctual, clean and quick, but thorough. The attention to detail was impressive. We brought them back for exterior work, replacing rotten wood all over our 2 story house and patio. He helped us prioritize and worked with our budget, letting us know what needed to done and what might wait for the next round. We thought the price was a little high, but once we received 2 other estimates, his price was in the ballpark, and we were very happy with the quality of the work and thoughtfulness of the crew. Some of the other handymen were quick to offer shortcuts that would look okay, but not be sound--a problem for the next homeowner, one said. We wanted it done correctly, and Ray and his crew offered helpful advice as well as quality workmanship. We will be calling Ray when we're ready for the next round of repairs and remodeling."

"A pipe burst in the wall of our 1967 home with wood floors, leaving extensive water damage in the bathroom and bedroom that would require completely gutting our bathroom and more. <br /> I contacted 8 top reviewed contractors on this site, requested bids  and interviewed them before choosing to go with Mr. Johnson. We chose this contractor for several reasons. <br /> 1) It was immediately clear he had much more experience actually DOING the work with this kind of project and with working in an older home than any other contractor we spoke to. Every other contractor had told me to expect this project to take from 1-3 months (during which time we would be living in hotel with small children!!) Mr. Johnson very clearly explained exactly why the labor for this project would be from 5-8 days, what variables we may face when opening up the floor, weather, late supplies, etc. He actually took less time than that, even with a delay for weather. <br /> 2) Mr. Johnson was respectful of my plans for the project and while he offered many good suggestions, I never felt pressured or bullied, unlike other contractors who were already trying to upsell before even giving me a quote. <br /> 3) Small group of workers that have been working together for a while and know each other. Owner/contractor hands-on during the project. Much better than a contractor who has little or no hands-on experience, distantly overseeing groups of subcontractors they don't know personally, having some very large company with subcontractors they don't know coming in and out, and the less middlemen the better in my opinion. <br /> We had to wait a few weeks to get the project started as they were already working on another project, but every contractor had a wait-list at that time, so it was not something unusual or problematic. The work was completed in less than 7 days, and with one final visit to fine tune the details a few days later. <br /> As it turns out we made a great decision- I am very happy with the work done in my bathroom. I especially like the care and details in the installation of the tile in the shower, and I am pretty much happy whenever I open the door and walk in and see it. <br /> The quote, billing and contract were handled in a very open, understandable and direct way, which I also appreciated. It seemed like other contractors were purposefully trying to intimidate and confuse me with their quotes, so this is a big positive. <br /> We will definitely use this company in the future, and I would recommend them wholeheartedly. <br /> <br />"
