"Was only going to have the gutter/downspouts cleaned, but ended up buying the LeafFilter product. The presenters' explanation/demonstration was excellent. The installer was efficient and courteous! The warranty is outstanding."

"They scheduled me for 9/29/21 and then called the morning of to say they don't install gutters on houses with metal roofs. I talked to other gutter companies who stated it was a BS statement to get out of doing the work."

"The HGE Crew was efficient and clean removing old gutters and replacing with new system. The only company which actually got on a ladder to conduct a thorough assessment of gutters. Great job!"

"Precision Seamless Gutters did and excellent job! For the price we paid, a great value and we are extremely picky and price conscious consumers when dealing with contractors. Most people will get bids from 3 or 4 companies, we will get at least 6 and carefully examine each bid and then negotiate with the chosen company. Of course, it's not over until the work is perfect because it's our home. Steve and Clint were punctual, polite, and really knew how to engineer and design a gutter system that was elegant and affordable. Our home is in an area that is known for having issues with expansive soils and higher volumes of rain and snow since were closer to the foothills. We wanted it to look good as well. We listened to their advice and added additional downspouts in locations that made good sense for better effluent water drainage. These guys are great! Can't say enough about the attention to detail, the precise framing of the corners, the well calculated drops and angles and the genuine consistency with the architectural layout of the home design. Of course, I'm sure many seamless gutter companies do good work, but what sets these guys apart is their follow-up. Gutter systems are a critical stationary fixture and Steve has a great understanding of how important it is to the foundation of the home as well as preventing any seepage to the interior. Color match came out perfect! The gutters match the trim and it looks terrific! <br />"

"Now with the hail storm I have to have another roof but I do not think I will use them again. I have a very old dog and they said it would be a short job, one day maybe a second day. I took my dog out of my house because she would not be able to handle the pounding. I stayed at a friends and came home late at night and there was nothing on my lawn so I thought they were done. I slept in and went to the bathroom where I have a skylight, as I was about to sit down I saw a leg go over. They had not finished. I think the first day they just took the first roof off. I was very shocked to see them up there. They roofed all day and I had not made plans to get my dog out there that day so then I had to and that was inconvenient. They stayed almost the whole day and then they put in gutters. They said they would be here Saturday morning to do it. I took the dog for a walk at 10am and they still had not arrived. They were there when I got back. They had just a little bit more to go and did not bring enough gutter so they had to come back another day. So what they told me and how it went did not match up. I was a little disappointed in that. I did not talk to them that much. The guy that came out and talked to me about the job was friendly and easy to get a long with but I was disappointed in deadlines and time issues, that they were not really accurate about. They met with what my insurance company allowed for. The workers did not speak English."

FAQs for gutters & downspouts cleaning service projects in Brush, CO

You’ll want to clean gutters once or twice a year—in early spring and again in fall—to keep water flowing and avoid pricey leaks. Homes tucked beneath tall trees or hit with heavy debris may need two to four visits instead. Staying on schedule protects your roof, siding, and foundation from costly water damage.

Even with gutter guards, plan on an occasional cleaning—just not as often as homes without guards. Installing gutter guards blocks leaves, but grit and shingle granules still slip through and pile up over time. A quick sweep keeps water moving and stops overflow that can damage your roof or foundation.

Watch for overflowing water, slow or silent downspouts, sagging sections, or debris peeking over the gutter edge. You might also spot water stains, weeds, or an increasing number of ants in certain areas. Any of these red flags means it’s time to call a gutter cleaning pro for service before minor clogs turn into major leaks.

Skip cleanings for too long and gutters overflow, sending water under shingles, down siding, and toward the foundation. The result can be mold, rotted fascia, basement leaks, and repair bills that dwarf the price of a quick cleaning. It can also mean that future cleanings will be more expensive as it will take pros longer to deep clean gutters that are full of heavy debris. Staying on schedule saves money and headaches.

Plan on gutter cleaning service to take an average of one hour for an average single-story home and two to three hours for taller houses. Add extra time if gutter guards need to come off or clogs are packed in. Pros work methodically, clearing every linear foot so water can flow freely again.
