"As with most large scale remodeling jobs, MC had to bring in third-parties to finish some of the work. Though the MC workers were almost always on time, some of the third-parties were less reliable. Of course, this will be true of any major contractor. The main deciding factor among the various local granite and cultured marble vendors is materials choice and the ability to choose your stone ahead of time. MC offers these options with a greater selection of cultured marble and on-site granite slabs. <br /> Another comment on the timeliness: MC has been advertising on TV recently, which seems to be generating a lot of business. If you are in a rush, they might not be able to accommodate due to the backlog queue of jobs. However, if you need something done right (even if it takes some time), they seem to be among the best choices in the BCS region. <br />"

"I am trying to work with them.  After checking with them I would go with them for my granite tops. I went to some open house events and when I asked who did the granites countertops and they would say Old Stone and they say they are the best.  I went to their yard and they have a warehouse where they work.  They also have a business office and they have stones in the yard.  I can’t speak about the work yet because they haven’t done the work.  He has come out and measured.  He came out pretty quickly to give me the estimate. The girl in their office is his sister, and she was really good. He walks through the yard with you and names the granite that you ask. "

"My wife and I wanted new hard woods in our house but had very specific requirements that we could not typically find locally.  My wife wanted a dark floor while I wanted extreme durability in a natural hard wood.  We did our homework and decided that Brazilian Walnut (Ipe) most closely matched what we wanted.  <br /> After looking locally for something that fit the bill, the flooring we found was either over $12 sq/ft (too expensive) or not dark enough.  I started searching on-line and ran across Brazilian Direct.  Their prices seemed reasonable (a bit over $6 sq/ft for what we wanted) and they even had a tinted (dark) version of the floor we liked. <br /> After several weeks of questions and further research, we decided to place an order.  We we worked with a representative named Sannon who helped us every step of the way.  She sent us samples, instructions, guides - everything to make us more comfortable about our eventual order.  Our order came right on schedule and the wood was really beautiful.  After several weeks of the required acclimation we had a local installer put the floor down.  They did an excellent job and we really love our floor.  There was very little waste and in fact we had at least 3 boxes left over. <br /> I highly recommend Brazilian Direct.  We are considering using them again for a deck project we'd like to do in the future. <br />"

"He used his personnel to paint the house and did excellent job. Also they replaced floor plugs with new ones which will not come out of the floor. The slides he placed in the kitchen drawers have been a great aid for us. <br />"

"I have used several Granite Gold products and like their effectiveness because they do what they are supposed to do. No strong fumes or irritating skin problems. The granite counter top daily cleaner and polish are so easy to use (spay it on and wipe with a paper towel) to keep all your stone products clean and shiny. I was surprised to see how effective the grout cleaner is. I sprayed it on some dirty tire floors in the bathroom and let it sit for a couple of minutes. Then I went over it with the scrub brush they provide. It looked clean then, but when it dried, it was much brighter. This is a 40 Year old bathroom tile floor pictured.
