They were efficient, fast, and professional. They are pricey, but you get what you pay for and the customer service is impeccable!!! "Since at first there were a number of uncertain factors where only an "allowance" could be made, it took a while for Nick to determine how to shape his bid. (It was finally agreed to specify a price for the two bathrooms but do the kitchen on a "time and materials" basis.) Once the contract was signed, Nicoleta immediately became deeply involved both in design and in supervising the team of highly skilled workers. Not only does she have excellent taste and sense of design, but she also quickly sensed our taste and spent an enormous amount of time working with us on decisions from layout to choice of floor and wall tiles, countertops, light and plumbing fixtures, bathroom hardware and paint colors, and everything in between. She also handled most of the ordering and then dealt with vendors when any problems arose. Not only did Nicoleta have creative ideas, but GSBuilders' skilled team of electricians, carpenters and painters came up with unique solutions to challenging problems such as how to "build in" a microwave oven into a limited existing cabinet space (with appropriate venting) so as to free up counter space. When there were glitches (and I have yet to hear of a renovation project where there were no glitches), Nicoleta and the team quickly responded to ensure that everything was 100% right. Renovation is a disruptive process at best, but everyone from GSBuilders exerted great effort to minimize the disruption and to ensure that things were left as neat as possible at the end of each workday. They were totally reliable and while we were not sad to have our house back to ourselves when the project was completed, we felt very comfortable having them in our home. The project was not cheap. But we deeply appreciated the caring attention and skillful work that went into it and we feel the price was fair and that we got excellent value and made some new friends along the way."

"I contacted Earth Friendly Services this morning and I immediately received a reply.  Phil contacted me and I asked for a proposal for installing my new light.  He responded and said he would be at my home in about 15 - 20 minutes.  His responsiveness was exact. He arrived in about 15 minutes. I showed him the light fixture and he said it was no problem and he could do it today.  I also asked him if he would also install a new electrical outlet in my foyer and again he said no problem.  Phil installed the light fixture and the electrical outlet that day and he did a fantastic job.  He was very professional and the quality of work was awesome.  I was also very pleased on the price.  I have put Earth Friendly Services number in my phone book and I will sure use them again.  Thanks Phil!

"I would give the subcontractor who built and completed my deck an "A". The subcontractor and his team arrived each day promptly to the job each day.  If they had any feedback, they will leave a note.  They had ensured that the installed deck had completed the county inspection.   The subcontractor who had built the small patio, I would give him a B-.  There were some quality issues.
  Now, for the Powerhouse Remodeling Company, I would give them a "C-".  They were very attentive when they were consulting about the deck.  Once the financing agreement was approved and signed, this was the last time I heard from them.  I thought I would hear from the company owner to ensure I was happy with his company.  Unfortunately, no response from this company.
