"I wanted to extend my thanks to Brighton Pools for the great job they did on my pool remodel. My pool is a 25-year-old gummite pool that needs a lot of work. It needed new coping stone, water line tile, skimmer, and new plaster to get it back to new condition. Gary with Brighten Pools kept me informed the whole way through, and most importantly stayed on schedule. There was a lot to this job, but Brighton Pools got it done in record time. Brighton Pools contractors were professional and courteous and carried out their tasks without any problems. Thank you, Gary, my pool looks great,"

"I highly recommend Milton's Chandeliers to any homeowner, business or organization.  They are highly skilled, professional, capable, responsive, considerate and punctual. Milton is an experienced specialist, not a generalist.  Considering the fragility and value of crystal chandeliers, you want a specialist.  <br /> We came home from a two week vacation to a burst pipe, flooded home, ceiling had collapsed into basement where I had 6 crystal chandeliers stored. These were from my grandmother's and mother's homes, and have sentimental value.  I called three chandelier cleaning companies and Milton was the only one who responded.  In fact, Milton arrived at my home within 24 hours and carefully removed all chandeliers, properly packing the small ones and hanging the large ones safely in the back of his van.  <br /> The largest crystal chandelier had broken arms which Milton repaired using base fittings, an idea, I am not sure a novice would have thought of.  Each chandelier was taken apart, thoroughly cleaned and reassembled at his warehouse.  (I was able to visit the warehouse and take photos.)  <br /> After storing the chandeliers for 5 months, Milton and his crew delivered and hung the chandeliers in my home.  He consulted with me as to where to hang them based on scale and decor.  The largest, he hung in our two story foyer using a very tall ladder. I mention this because some service providers do not have this ladder. In fact, years earlier, another electrician told me he would have to install scaffolding to hang a chandelier! <br /> Throughout, Milton was accessible, knowledgeable, reliable and obviously very experienced. I will have him clean the chandeliers in the future and would hire him for any related work.  He is truly a specialist! <br />"

"Frank listened carefully to what we wanted and expertly guided us to what he had in the showroom and also the relevant catalogue, marking the pages.Once we had chosen he pointed out pros and cons of the different ones. he was able to show us samples to ensure the correct colors. He could not do enough to ensure we got exactly what we wanted. He informed us promptly  of availability and estimated time of arrival. He called us when they arrived and helped us fit them in the car. He matched all internet prices. I am delighted with everything. I would never consider buying lighting from anywhere else. What a find. <br />"

"Ross is exceptional. We wanted to add a ceiling spot light to a cathedral ceiling connecting it to an existing circuit used for an overhead fan. Sound simple but it wasn't as the fan was poorly installed by a previous owner of the house and ceiling joists made placement of the spot and running wires tricky. Long story made short, Ross got it done, overcoming several unanticipated problems along the way. First class. And, to boot, he's a nice guy - responsive, good-humored, and more than willing to go the extra yard. Reasonably priced. Definitely will call him again!"

FAQs for swimming pool remodeling projects in Bryans Road, MD

You can modernize your pool by adding features like underwater LED lighting, mosaic tiles, or a beach entry for easy access. Incorporating amenities like fire pits, waterfalls, or installing energy-efficient equipment can also give your pool a contemporary upgrade.

To make your pool more energy-efficient, consider resurfacing it with a lighter color to reduce heating needs and evaporation. Installing a variable-speed pump can significantly lower energy consumption. Switching to low-energy LED lights not only saves power but also enhances ambiance. Additionally, updating old plumbing pipes can improve efficiency and reduce water loss.

A pool remodel typically takes between four and eight weeks to complete. The exact duration depends on factors such as the size of your pool, the complexity of the renovations, and the availability of materials and contractors. Planning ahead and coordinating with a professional pool remodeler can help ensure your project stays on schedule.

Remodeling your pool can be a worthwhile investment, especially if you plan to sell your home. A pool remodel can increase your property's value and enhance its appeal to potential buyers. Upgrades like modern finishes, energy-efficient systems, and added features like lighting or fountains can transform an outdated pool into a backyard oasis.

Resurfacing a pool involves applying a new finish to the existing surface to address cosmetic issues and minor structural concerns. Replastering is a more extensive process that replaces a deeper layer of the pool's structural base, impacting both stability and appearance. After replastering, you can choose from various finishes to enhance the design and longevity of your pool.
