"Excellent service from responding for an estimate to job completion. Mr. Harmon and his crew removed nine (9) trees in a townhouse community. The trees were in various stages of falling with huge branches over the community parking areas, light posts and sidewalks. They came on time, cleaned up each area as they completed the work, and checked with me to see if there were any concerns during the process. The estimate was very good and it was what the final job cost. Everyone was professional and courteous, and I highly recommend!"

"I contacted five tree removal companies to provide an estimate. The Greentree guy (I am sorry he verbally told me his name, but I have forgotten it).I provided him with my list of what exactly I wanted done and I accompanied him around the yard pointing out the trees and discussing the job. He seemed to know what he was talking about and provided me with what I thought was useful information. When we were finished, he verbally gave me an estimate and gave me some information about Greentree's schedule and openings. I thanked him for his time and he left. The estimate he gave me was the lowest estimate I received, however it was not written down nor did he provide me with any supporting paperwork like all the rest. It may just be me but I was someone uncomfortable with this approach to business. It may have worked out perfectly well if I had decided to go with Greentree, and maybe they are so busy they don't need to be more business like. In any case, despite the low estimate, I was just not comfortable with Greentree. Other's may feel differently."

"I contacted Willie to have an azelea tree trimmed. Willie let me know right away it was best to wait to trim the tree until it was no longer blooming. I appreciated him being honest. Willie checked my other trees and let me know they were being eaten away by caterpillar nests. Willie and his team did an excellent job of trimming down those trees and cleaning up the nests. They arrived on time and were very professional. They cleaned up all the debris and left my yard as clean as they found it. I highly recommend Willie for your lawn care needs. "The storm hit about 6PM on a Tuesday. A fair amount of damage, and my car was blocked in the car port by the tree that was now leaning against my house. I imagined that it would  be days before getting somebody out to remove the tree. I figured I would need to miss a lot of time at my job. Also I was concerned that I would be charged a premium because of the immediate need and precarious situation I was in. Went to Angie's list and found "Edwards Tree and Lawn Service." I called and left a message on Edward's answering machine about 9PM (Tuesday).
       At 9 AM the next morning (Wednesday), Mr. Edwards was at my front door. He took a thorough look around, quoted an estimate, that I knew was reasonable and left. In 45 minutes he was back with his crew, in four or five hours, the tree was cut up and piled in the front of my house. He and his personnel were courteous and thorough -- particularly in cleaning up. They were careful not to create more damage in the removal of this big big tree, and were even careful about not marring my driveway. They took care to get all the wood chips off of the lawn. I could not have asked for better. Within an hour of their departure, I had a detailed receipt via e-mail.
The next morning they were out early to pick up the cutup tree and branches -- again did a super job cleaning up. It is now Thursday and this unfortunate situation is behind me. Edwards' completed the job (including clean up) even before my insurance adjuster got here -- I am still waiting for the insurance adjuster to fit me in his schedule. That is responsive. I would use Edwards again and have scheduled additional work with them. Very pleased.
