"Eric Smith provided excellent service. The repairs were hampered by rain but his communication was excellent and the repairs performed over a two day period to our satisfaction. We highly recommend them and definitely plan to use them again in the future."

"Can't say enough good things about this company. They did a wonderful job removing our old cracked concrete driveway/path and replacing with be a beautiful paver driveway. They were patient as we chose our color/plans, gave helpful advice on the new paver choices, and did an outstanding job re-leveling our driveway and installing a drain system/sod as well. I would hire them again in a second. Thanks for the wonderful job guys!!"

  • Lucas arrived when expected and I showed him my areas of concern.  He fixed the outlet  I had been previously been told not to use because of reverse polarity and installed a new dimmer switch for   the dining room light  which stopped working.  He checked some other areas I had questions about  and pointed out some other  areas other inspectors had missed.  His prices on suggested repairs were in line with other companies.  All work was performed under what I paid "Angies list"  $68 including materials.  I have scheduled time for him to return.

"Was initially a little reluctant hiring them since there was very little information about the company online but gave it a shot and was not disappointed. They were very prompt, professional and skilled. Fred was quickly able to diagnose and fix the issue in a matter of minutes. Will certainly use them in the future for any electrical needs."

"We hired them to perimeter fence our farm with no climb horse wire with wood on top. Approximately 7 acres of that type of fence. We also have a 13 acre pasture that we wanted fenced in RAMM flex fence. I specifically asked if they had experience with RAMM because it works on a tension system and needs to be installed specifically according to the manufacturer. Melanie said they did have experience with it and it would be no problem. While the crew did a good job on the perimeter fencing, they had no idea what they were doing with the RAMM fencing. They didn't brace corners/gates properly, and I had to hire another company to uninstall and reinstall what was messed up. And when I went to pay Melanie the final payment, there was an additional $4000+ added to her original quote. She said she had missed 200 feet of fencing when she did the estimate."

"I was very impressed with the service. I am a photography student so I work with a lot of heavy weight programs and very large files. I also do a ton of research along with my school work. After one year of using my brand new laptop for school, I had NO space left on my computer, it was crashing constantly, files were corrupting, and of course, everything was taking forever to load. I called HelloTech for help. They were very understanding of my need for a very complete and fast repair. They were very prompt, diagnosed the issues with my computer, then gave me options on how it could be repaired and modified to accommodate my needs, along with price quotes for each option. Very professional, we worked out a plan that fixed every issue that I had. I am more than happy with my "new" laptop and I would most definitely hire them again!"

"Durwood Thompson provided an estimate and performed the work very satisfactorily.  His main concern was customer satisfaction and after a disagreable installer began the job, Durwood had it completed to our satisfaction.  Durwood was very pleasant, professional and customer oriented.  I would highly recommend him and his company."

FAQs for outdoor lighting plan and installation projects in Bryceville, FL

Permit requirements for outdoor lighting vary depending on your location and project scope. Simple fixture replacements don't require permits, but projects involving new electrical circuits, extensive trenching, or significant system expansions often do. Local building departments establish these requirements, and many professional electricians handle permit applications as part of their service package.

The timeline for outdoor lighting installation varies based on project complexity. Basic systems might require only one to two days for complete installation, while extensive lighting networks with numerous fixtures and complex wiring needs could extend to a week or longer. Weather conditions, property accessibility, and soil characteristics can all influence how quickly professionals can complete your installation.

Outdoor lighting offers both practical and aesthetic benefits that many homeowners find valuable. Beyond enhancing nighttime visibility and security, well-designed lighting can highlight architectural features and extend outdoor living hours. While installation represents a significant investment, quality lighting may potentially increase property appeal and could contribute to overall home value.

Some outdoor lighting projects are suitable for homeowner installation, particularly simple solar fixtures or low-voltage systems that plug into existing outlets. However, projects requiring new electrical connections, permanent wiring, or integration with home electrical systems demand professional expertise. Electrical work carries inherent safety risks, and improper installation could create fire hazards or code violations.

The operating cost for outdoor lighting depends primarily on your fixture types, bulb selection, and usage patterns. Energy-efficient LED fixtures consume significantly less electricity than traditional incandescent or halogen alternatives. Controlling your lighting with timers, photocells, or motion sensors can further reduce energy usage by ensuring lights operate only when needed or beneficial.
