He supported and respected our taste, but gently guided us toward particular aspects of design and detail that we would’ve never thought of. He spent hours with us in tile stores to help us decide what would look best for us. He made himself available to us at all times, and even watered our garden for us while we were away on vacation during part of the renovation. His attention to detail is outstanding. He helped us consider options that would be the easiest to clean, the most practical and the most beautiful. He even came back a year after the renovation to make sure the work maintained its integrity. I would highly recommend Dan for your project. "Bad Experience. Bait and Switched us. Told us the no more than cost of our removal verbally and then said he needed $4k to do the design with us and get final firm contract after that. I told him I was skeptical giving him $4k and then have him come back with contract stating it would cost a big percent more. He assured me “he is not that kind of guy”. Then after the design and a smaller scope he wanted to charge us 30% more. Took our money and we now have to start over with a new contractor."
