"Steve and his son did a great job on our garage floor. We had some extensive work that needed to be done on the floor before the epoxy could be applied. We were advised of the process the entire time and were kept up to date of the progress. Most important the floor looks great."

"I got a few estimates for raising/supporting concrete steps/stoop which was sinking and pulling away from the house. John Coil's suggestion was polyjacking (and that was way under the estimates for other types of work suggested). Very glad I went with Heartland - Cory Mundell was punctual and discussed some possible concerns about the job with me before getting to work. The job turned out even better than expected and looks great. Couldn't be happier and very pleased with the value. And Heartland is a KCUR supporter - always a plus. :)"

"They did an exceptionally good job preparing the floor. They ended up doing a lot more work than anticipated to make the floor level and to fix cracks. They did not charge anything extra for this additional work. All work was performed professionally. They were very careful with the color stain and did a very nice job cleaning up. They were always exactly on time and kept me informed about the progress of the project. I was very impressed with their knowledge about preparing concrete floors. They were very honest about what to expect and there were no surprises. The quality of the work really stands out."

"Sealmaxx arrived on time and completed the work in two days. They had to first powerwash and then applied the sealant. We had heard about Sealmaxx on the radio and visited with them at a home remodeling show. Everything looked great when they were finished and we expect the sealing to last a long time. Still looks great 3 years later. <br />"

FAQs for concrete floor coating apply projects in Buckner, MO

Epoxy flooring is a two-part coating made from synthetic resins and a hardener that bonds to concrete to create a continuous, durable surface. Once cured, the coating resists impacts, moisture, and most household chemicals, making it a practical choice for garages, basements, and workshops. It also creates a uniform, easy-to-clean finish that looks more polished than bare concrete without requiring ongoing waxes or sealers.

With proper care and maintenance, solvent-based and solid residential epoxy flooring can last 10 to 20 years, while water-based epoxy flooring lasts three to five years. Water-based epoxy is less durable, making it more susceptible to regular wear and tear. Commercial epoxy concrete flooring that experiences heavy foot traffic may only last two to three years.

Maintaining epoxy garage floors is relatively easy. You can sweep up dirt and debris with a broom, dustpan, or vacuum cleaner, then use a mild cleaning solution intended for epoxy floors to scrub away stains. Avoid using soap-based or chemical cleaners. Mopping an epoxy garage floor regularly with warm water can do the trick.
