When we were getting quotes, when we met with Zach Becker of Stellar Roofing, he explained every aspect of the job. Did an excellent job of recommending his products. I was present for these projects and I was really impressed with the crews work ethics. There was a crew of 11 -12 people over the 3-4 days they were on site. Except for lunch, each worker was always busy. Either sweeping up the debris, taking shingles up to the roof, installing the shingles etc. I would use Stellar Roofing again."

"We received quotes from four different contractors. Most of the quotes were in the same price range. However, we chose MP Roofing and Siding because of Mikeâ s knowledge about siding products, his enthusiasm, and because he took the time to understand our ideas for the house. His work team was here at 8 AM every morning and worked fast and efficiently until the siding, window trim, porch ceilings, shutters and gutters were finished. They replaced the storm doors and Mike installed new light fixtures on the porches. There were a few places on the house (itâ s over 100 years old) that didnâ t require siding but looked bad, such as the kick plates under the door. They replaced those and a few other areas to give the house a completely made over, refinished look. Mike constantly checked in with us to make sure we were satisfied with the progress. He monitored the work every day. I would always get an immediate response if I texted him. "My initial review (JAN 10) stated: I used Angie List to find a Pro in my area to repair damaged shingles after a wind storm. Tony and Nick responded immediately and were able to make the repairs the same day. They were very professional and thorough. They not only made the repair to the roof, but resealed the chimney and nearby roof vents. They also cleaned the gutters at a fair price. UPDATED REVIEW (APRIL 7, 2026): 3 months after the repair the shingles came off again. I was told there would be an additional charge to resolve it, but I will not be pursing this. I was also not pleased with the color selection of shingles, but that is my fault for not confirming it. I understand that a patch will be noticeable regardless, but this is a completely different shade of brown. I dread looking at it everyday when I pull into the driveway as it has become quite the eyesore from the street."

"Weâ ve been on Lake Chautauqua in Maple Springs since the '60s, witnessing generations and changes along the way. This spring, finding a construction crew with availability and good credentials was no small featâ until we connected with Monroe and More. We saw their construction work trailer in the neighborhood, contacted Dylan, and he came by the same day. The Better Business Bureau A+ Accreditation was helpful in making the family feel comfortable with the company. Dylanâ s quote came fast, was professionally prepared and he answered our questions as we talked through what we wanted. We had M&M update and replace two large porch roofs, two rooflets and the surrounding details and finishings. During that repair we discovered a larger issue, dry root in the window frames where it could not be detected. Ugh. Long story short, the house was built in 1911, different construction methods were used way back then, and some new stuff had been added about 35 years ago and we literally had a rotten mess on our hands two weeks before Memorial Day. Dylan and his crew installed new windows, custom built new window frames, they custom matched, milled and routed the replacement no-knot pine wall boards and finished the job with a smile. Could not be happier!"

"The positive: Graves Brothers will provide a quote for PARTIAL Siding projects where most companies won't talk to you unless you need a FULL Siding project. The installation team was quick and did a nice job. The Cons: Deceptive Sales. Your Typical Residential Home Services contactor. I had a complete east side siding replacement quoted. There is a 24" "Jog wall" between the exterior garage wall and the living quarters wall. Their quote included photos that show this wall in one of the views. A second photo shows the entire length of the wall outlined that includes this jog wall, but they did not replace the siding on this wall. A conversation BEFORE the project work started questioned if I intended on having the wall replaced and it was agreed that it should have been part of the proposal. The installers DID NOT replace the siding on this wall. I asked for a simple $500 credit and was willing to settle for a $350 credit which was more than fair. The Salesman insisted that seeing the wall was not assigned a "wall number" therefore it was not included in their proposal. Graves Brothers displayed ZERO interest in coming to a mutual agreement on the discrepancy. Update 7/19/2024: After continued conversations, the Sales Rep finally conceded that after speaking with his installers, that the work WAS included in the initial estimate and should have been completed. I gave Graves Brothers the option of discounting the price or returning to finish the work. They chose to finish the work which is scheduled this week. IMO, Speaking to his installation team should have been done PRIOR to him taking a flat stance with me that they were right and I was wrong. Give Graves Brothers Home Improvements a 3-Star rating for (finally) doing what was right. The installation was done well and the installers were professional, courteous and cleaned up well. Just make sure you document all conversations and get them in writing up front."

Lucky for us it stopped snowing just long enough for them to do what they do. They were efficient, fast, and did an excellent job. The roof no longer leaks and we are so happy!
