"As a businessman, I raise the bar very high on timely responsive communication, quality of workmanship and professionalism. Kalamazoo Concrete Coatings, LLC. certainly, satisfied all three (3) aforementioned prerequitsites, start to finish. Alec and his team provided a very impressive epoxy floor in our two-car garage that was desperately in need of major amounts of TLC. Their vast amount of state-of-the-art equipment (with dust collectors) combined with craftmanship experience turned my embarrassing, pitted, dingy garage floor to shiny, charcoal black show piece with a low slip textured clear coat. I know you have options, but do yourself a big favor, save your frustration and time. Make your first call to Kalamazoo Concrete Coatings, LLC. (269)-808-1121. Tell them Steve Harp recommended you to call.... You will be glad you did, guaranteed!"

"<p>Others had tried to remove this stain unsuccessfully with power washers.  Mark Anderson (CEO) provided a bid with a couple of options and recommended the cheaper of the two (sand blasting).  It worked very well.  The resulting epoxy covering wasn't a perfect texture, so another coat was applied and the results were very satisfactory.</p> <p>Appreciate Mark's coming by to inspect the work and following up to make sure the results were satisfactory.</p>"

"I had anticipated more than one painter to do my rooms since I was having the ceilings done as well. However, only one painter was here to do all the work. <br /> All the floors and furniture were covered by Ben and Rick prior to painting.  <br /> Ben was the painter.  He was very meticulous and did a fantastic job.  However, I felt it was unfair to have him be the only painter on the job when I was originally advised by Rick Remaly that there would be move than one painter. <br /> I was advised to buy 2 gallons of each paint color because they would be painting 2 coats.  I did not need to have 2 coats done but now I am stuck with 2 gallons of paint I can't return because they were made by the company's color swatches. <br /> All in all, my rooms look great and we only had to move the furniture around before and after the painting.  <br /> <br />"

"Roy took on a large size job at our house. He and the crew hand skim coated, sanded, primed, sanded, primed and painted almost 80% of our home in 10 days! Roy and his team were professional, and worked late hours to overcome any obstacle they faced. The walls were beautifully painted, and my wife and I could not be happy with the amazing effort, and result in our home. Roy's team sanded and painted, and re-sanded an painted until every wall was perfect. Even areas that my wife and I though looked great were redone if they did not meet Roy's standards. Roy and his crew were incredible to have work for us, provided outstanding customer service, and left us with an end result that was BEAUTIFUL! I cannot recommend Roy and his team enough for any painting and skim coating job you may have. Roy is a stand up guy, does what he says he will do, overcomes any obstacles he meets and leaves the job with a beautiful finished product. Incredible value and quality!"

FAQs for concrete floor coating apply projects in Burlington, MI

Epoxy flooring is a two-part coating made from synthetic resins and a hardener that bonds to concrete to create a continuous, durable surface. Once cured, the coating resists impacts, moisture, and most household chemicals, making it a practical choice for garages, basements, and workshops. It also creates a uniform, easy-to-clean finish that looks more polished than bare concrete without requiring ongoing waxes or sealers.

With proper care and maintenance, solvent-based and solid residential epoxy flooring can last 10 to 20 years, while water-based epoxy flooring lasts three to five years. Water-based epoxy is less durable, making it more susceptible to regular wear and tear. Commercial epoxy concrete flooring that experiences heavy foot traffic may only last two to three years.

Maintaining epoxy garage floors is relatively easy. You can sweep up dirt and debris with a broom, dustpan, or vacuum cleaner, then use a mild cleaning solution intended for epoxy floors to scrub away stains. Avoid using soap-based or chemical cleaners. Mopping an epoxy garage floor regularly with warm water can do the trick.
