"Excellence all the way around! I not be more pleased with experience and the final product Affordable Asphalt Paving provided. Josh, the owner, is a true professional who knows his stuff. He was the most affordable contractor out of five bids, he delivered outstanding customer service throughout the whole process and he and his crew flawlessly executed an "above and beyond" quality paving product. I'd highly recommend this company for all your asphalt and chip-seal paving needs of any size. Thank you, Josh! "

"While Asphalt during a pandemic is very expensive, he was less than any other quote I received ... and I checked out 10 other businesses. He was very professional. He did a great job. I will use him for all my asphalt needs moving forward."

"Dakota Sullivan did a great job on our large circular asphalt driveway. The old asphalt was at least 25-30 years old, and was in terrible shape, with divits, and grass growing where there used to be asphalt. His communication was timely, and he helped us understand what needed to be done, and guaranteed the quality of the repavement would be as good as new. We are very pleased with the work."

Small jobs welcome

"Unfortunately the turn around time for asphalt to be delivered, was slow 1.5-2hrs. Reason was, the local plant was making a different type or batch. So, the truck had to go back to their area plant and get the asphalt. I have a one year warranty. So, I shall see how it holds up. The crew was nice and performed their task well. Maybe, I'm just an old goat being nervous. Bruce and the creww were professional in their actions."

"They did a great job and I'd recommend them to friends and family. <br /> Really felt they went above and beyond to make sure the job was done right and make sure we were happy. They even came back a couple of weeks later to inspect the work and make a couple of changes that I would have never noticed or asked them to address. They even filled a hole that the city left after the city repair at no cost and I didn't even have to ask them. Their price was very good and certainly reasonable compared to the other quotes. <br /> The son Aaron was very professional and polite and made sure not to get the sidewalk dirty. <br /> Will use them in the future. <br />"

He kept in contact throughout the entire time! Reasonable and fair pricing. This was an emergency for me and Mr. Kevin and his squad came through. We will definitely be calling on him again for more carpentry and home improvement jobs! Thank you and I pray nothing but growth and success for you and your business!!"

FAQs for asphalt paving installation projects in Burnet, TX

Most driveways wrap up in roughly a week. Allow two to three days for installation, followed by an additional two to three days for the surface to cure. Concrete and asphalt follow this timeline, whereas a gravel job often finishes more quickly. Laying out the schedule upfront makes it easier to plan your week and your budget.

Sealer prevents water, salt, and UV rays from damaging the surface. Apply a fresh coat every one to three years, and you’ll slow down the growth of cracks, avoid pricey repairs, and keep the driveway looking sharp. A local professional can handle the job efficiently and ensure even coverage.

Material is the significant driver when it comes to the lifespan of a driveway. Asphalt stays strong for about 20 years, concrete lasts 30 to 40 years, and paver stones can last 50 to 100 years because you can swap out damaged bricks. With regular top-ups, a gravel drive can also reach the century mark. Knowing these timelines helps you map out long-term maintenance and replacement costs.

Repaving strips everything down and starts fresh, letting you change the layout or improve drainage before pouring new material. Resurfacing, on the other hand, adds a top layer over a solid base, giving you a facelift without the need for a complete demolition. Go with repaving when the base is failing; choose resurfacing when the structure is sound and you just need a new surface.
