"First, shingles for TWO roofs had been delivered on top of our double wide. When the two guys showed up to roof the first day, they didn't know why all the shingles were put on one house. I called Wyndhill and asked for them to move the shingles for the 2nd roof down because of the weight. Was told would be done at end of first day. It was not. Second we were told the work would be done in 2 days which turned into 4. There were 2 guys doing the house roof the first day, and then only one guy came for the next three days over a weekend. Our biggest concern was if he fell off the roof, no one would have known. Wyndhill told us they had run into trouble with losing crew etc. and couldn't reschedule more people to roof. We made so many calls to them about why they didn't show up, why materials were left, etc. They did give us the labor discount from Angies and took another $200 for inconvenience but it was really frustrating. The fan they replaced over the master bath which connects to the bedroom chatters with the wind. We asked them to fix it since Oct 4. Never did to our knowledge. They said they would replace it and they never followed up after several calls to them. My husband wound up going onto the roof and stuffing something in it to make the noise stop. Roof looks good. Price was good. Response was terrible. Sorry."

"Our only complaint about Metro Reconstruction was the length of time it took to start the job. However, it’s hard to fault a company whose popularity and good work actually created their wait list. Ben explained that several of his other stucco projects had hidden complications that delayed the start of our small job. "The provider requested OK from Choice Warranty and he was denied. It rained last night and rain came into my home. It could have been avoided if Choice had just approved what I requested. Now, the damage will be greater than necessary. I blame Choice home warranty for my home damage. Now it will cost mote than a simple tarp could have prevented until I could get money to repair roof. The provider was great and tried his best to get something done to my roof but Choice Warranty was horrible and no help. They get a "zero" from me"

"Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."

"Torres Roofing did an Excellent job patching my sister's trailer roof. There still are contractors that show up on time for both the estimate and the actual job. The job was completed with before and after pictures and i was completely satisfied. They do need to improve on itemized invoices for job bids."

In total it was about a 3 week job, starting with hardwood floors. The hardwood installers were very professional, they even recommended we turn the hardwood in a different direction in the kitchen to make the room feel bigger which it did. They carefully removed all the floor trim in the house and proceeded to sand the floors. Once the sanding was complete and the new hardwood was laid in the kitchen they had us choose our colors. We had some ideas as to what we wanted and discussed them in detail with JVI, because we have a large dog that sheds there was some advice given to ensure our floors would stay looking great. The floor install took about 3 days and they left the final coat for when the rest of the work was complete. 
Next the painters came and with the utmost care prepped and painted the kitchen leaving the last coat for when the granite was installed. Once the granite was installed they came back for their final coat, they not only just removed their supplies but ensured that all the over spray was cleaned up.
Then the hardwood installers returned for their final coat and to re-install all the trim that was removed previously. 
Our house looks great and we would recommend JVI to anyone. Dominic who was the contractor was very easy to work with and get a hold of, my wife and I are very picky and he did everything to accommodate all our requests."
