"Gaby helped us remodel our kitchen. We wanted to keep our existing custom cabinets but modernize the appearance. Gaby transformed the look from a country style kitchen to a more modern, crisp design by: -extending the cabinets about 10” to the ceiling, and adding molding and trim work -replacing faux legs in our island and cooking area with clean edges -building custom decorative panels for the island and columns -removing a cabinet to make room for a beverage center -countless repairs and fixes Gaby also coordinated painting - both the cabinets and the ceiling/walls, and painted over 50 cabinet doors/drawers himself. The painting turned out absolutely beautiful and professional - as if the cabinets were white from the beginning. He also coordinated many of the other jobs, including recommending an electrician for us who was also very reliable and professional. In many ways, he acted like a GC for us in addition to a carpenter. Can’t say enough about Gaby. He is an outstanding, meticulous carpenter. He knows his stuff in and out. He is reliable, prompt, efficient, reasonable, and goes above and beyond to deliver amazing results. "We are so glad we went with Matt Silva & his team for our much-needed kitchen update. The finished result is functional, modern, and beautiful, as we had hoped. But the best part was working with this group of pros. Every person who was in/out of our house over the space of a few weeks was courteous and professional, respectful of our space, tolerant of our senior dog, and extremely meticulous in caring for our home as if it were their own. Matt visited us a few times before we committed to the work. Each time he answered a myriad of questions, showed product examples, made recommendations, and helped us decide on several key factors. Matt replied to emails promptly, and he always let us know when to expect team members to arrive. As with any reno, there were a couple minor snags but each was addressed promptly and to our full satisfaction. We can't say enough about how thoroughly these guys cleaned up every day. We never once tripped over a tool, found a nail on the floor, or had to worry about the dog getting into something he shouldn't. They sealed off our kitchen carefully, kept the yard gate closed as requested, and always covered the floor in the work zone. We used our own electrician but were very happy with the plumber, quartz supplier, and tile installers Matt coordinated. All of them showed up as scheduled and were as professional and thorough as Matt's core team. "Roldolfo responded very quickly and was able to accommodate our immediate timeline. He was always on time, very friendly, accommodating, and easy to work with. His skim-coating around two newly installed windows was terrific, and he was kind enough to repair a few additional anchor holes we added after he had begun. That being said, my husband and I fixed several deficiencies with the painting we only noticed after he had left. In a few places, it looked like only one coat of paint was used on the walls and the trim, as a few spotty areas still showed some of the plain white primer underneath – as if the rollers were not sufficiently loaded with paint. It produced a slightly splotchy, uneven appearance close up. We touched up some drips on the radiators too. Once we added another coat of paint ourselves, in specific places, it looks beautiful. My husband and I wanted the job finished ASAP so we could put all the furniture back, so we did it ourselves...although based on his responsiveness Rodolfo would likely have offered to fix the problem areas if we had requested it. Personally I would not hire them again, but if you need a job done very quickly, he’s capable."
