"Old pocket doors repair. Excellent work on both doors, and worked very well around my renters' work schedule. Pretty much within the estimate except that the technician didn't have the correct equipment to shave down adoor to make room for carpet. Ergo, he had to make a separate appointment to shave down the door. That's the only reason my rating is a 4 versus 5. Overall, an excellent job."

We were extremely pleased with the design suggestions and were able to quickly make an informed decision on our tile pattern. His knowledge base on materials also assisted us with making a quick determination as to which products to purchase. "We are writing to rave about Geoff's work. We had two projects; one was a small shower downstairs and one was a complete remodel upstairs. After seeing the shower Geoff rebuilt for us, we asked Geoff to work on the remodel. I must say in the small space to which Geoff had to work with, he did an amazing job. It went beyond our expections, in particular, the glass shower door. The tile work is beautiful so having the glass door really made it pop. As for our bigger project upstairs, the complete remodel, I think only photos can do it justice. We do want to add that Geoff was very patient with us and guided us with design ideas while being cautious not to push toward up selling. What was important to us is that Geoff addressed all our concerns; trying to minimize the impact to our house, constantly updating us, offering the 2nd job after the first job, and the high quality of his work. From the beginning to the end of the project, Geoff is always accessible. He called us, texted us and emailed us. Anyone who is looking for a contractor knows that is a rare quality. "I purchased the 3 Room Special from Angie's List for $399 to have my kids bedrooms painted. The house is brand new and has the cheap contractor flat paint on the walls. Steve contacted me within 48 house and we set up a date for him to come view the rooms. After he measured the rooms they were over the square footage. I believe the deal was for 3 13-by-13 rooms. My rooms were 12x16, 12x18, and 10x8, or something close to those dimensions. Steve originally quoted me an extra $80 for the additional square footage, but had no probelm dropping the price down to 50 which was a little more reasonable for me. My husband and I had already primed one of the bigger rooms so he went ahead and painted the ceiling as well in that room for no additional charge, but wanted to charge $150 for the other two rooms. I felt the price was a bit much since the ceiling in the biggest room is small because the walls angle on each side of the room so it's not square. Luckily since the rooms were painted white you really can't tell the ceilings were not painted. I chose to use the paint he recommened which was Sherwin Williams and for a 5 gallon bucket he charged us $120 which I thought was very reasonable. He was 10 minutes early, and ready to get started. I am 100 percent happy with the job he did. He did not make a mess and was very professional. I would definitely use him again based off the price from Angie's list, but the other price he quoted for the ceiling just seemed to be extremely high for the size of the two ceilings.

"Ripwood Customs LLC (Brian & Josh) is exceptional. They brought back to life a 25-plus-year-old deck and porch. They demoed, cleaned, rebuilt the deck, rescreened the porch, and trimmed all to perfection. Their craftsmanship is superb with thoughtful additions such as safety rails along the deck steps. "Tom did an excellent job.  I saw his work at a neighbors home and was impressed.  Tom took the time to work with me.  He reviewed quality of paints, price options, and schedule for work. The prep work on the walls (sanding, repairing dings, etc.) was excellent.  It was nice to have the estimate for work prepared, presented and performed by the owner of the business instead of a sales/marketing rep.  I would recommend Tom to anyone needing quality interior painting.
