"Horrible and stressful experience! In August 2025, I hired Asphalt Engineering to sealcoat my driveway based on a written quote specifying squeegee application only, but the work was spray-applied and did not cure properly. The crew instructed me to wait four days instead of the 48 hours in the contract. Tire marks appeared immediately after using the driveway and the crew left puddles of sealcoat material along the edges of the whole driveway. I documented the condition with photographs taken in August, November and January 2026. It has gotten progressively worse. My attempts to have the issues corrected were unsuccessful so I withheld payment. Instead of correcting their work and honoring their warranty, the Company decided to take me to small claims court. I later learned that the company had several similar disputes filed by other customers on the same day. Anyone considering their services should carefully read reviews and document all contract details before hiring. "

I got quotes from a number of companies, but BK & Sons offered the best price for the job with the changes I wanted (wider apron, reshaped parking area, etc) and the features I felt we’re important (10” of sub base, 2x 2” layers of asphalt vs 1 single 4” layer). My new driveway is so much better than I could have imagined. It’s laser straight where it once dipped and sagged, but they even improved the overall grade of my hill by raising up sections and lowering others to have a more consistent slope rather than a low spot and steep section. "Let?s start with my yard was a total mess before i hired these guys. I had over grown shrubs, the ground was uneven, there was remnants of a previous walkway the previous owners had put in the yard. I called Boston?s best asphalt and construction to come and discuss what we could do to fix this huge mess. After some pretty lengthy discussions back and forth we decided on grading the whole area, we installed a retaining wall to take care of one area of the yard, we installed a new patio and matching walkway around the whole exterior of my property. We also repaired front and back steps and installed granite caps on the steps and new railings. Oh my gosh I can?t believe the difference in my home, it looks so amazing!!!
