"Over-all the installation day went well - the crew was on time, prompt and very efficient. They installed the sump pump drain line without my knowledge and installed it over the property line. When my neighbor needed to install a fence, it took moths, multiple calls and finally threat of legal action to get them to come out and move the drain (which they promised to do at time of installation). The re-positioned drain work was so shoddy that I now have the drain sticking out of the ground and not properly draining; I will be calling them back again. It also took weeks and multiple calls to finally get the promised inspector documentation, which was then left in the crawl space without any notification."

"The office managed the date and time for the quote very professionally. They called 811 ahead of time so the yard was marked properly before the plumber arrived for the quote. The Plumber was professional and recommended a couple different solutions after seeing what the job would require. The parts needed were ordered and the connection to the county water system went as planned. Additionally the installation of a underground 20 GALLON PUMP TANK went without incident as well. When the plumbers left, the yard was in good repair. They disposed of the extra dirt and replaced the grass over the trench as good as possible."

"The men came back the next day to complete the repairs to our well pump. They surveyed again what the problem was and communicated with us the whole time. Upon our permission they would complete that repair. We found this company to be very professional and the men were very accommodating and personable. They were here for most of the day and upon finishing the job they came to let us know they were leaving and that everything they tested worked . <br /> This company will get our business again in the future. I especially liked the fact that they were so up front about everything, from the time and a half fees to getting our permission before fixing or replacing any part. <br />"

FAQs for sump pump repair or replace projects in Camp Lejeune, NC

Sump pumps last about 10 years with proper maintenance and prompt repairs. Several factors can influence your sump pump’s lifespan, such as usage, environmental conditions, and installation. Premium sump pumps with heavy-duty motors and quality components tend to last longer than lower-cost models. Pedestal sump pumps usually last longer than submersible models since they’re not constantly exposed to water.

A basement French drain is a drainage system installed in basements or around a building’s foundation to redirect water and prevent flooding. This system features a trench with a perforated pipe that catches and transports water away. These systems can crack, freeze, or clog, potentially resulting in flooding or strain on your sump pump.

You can use a sump pump in your yard to minimize pooling water and landscape damage, but it’s best used in conjunction with other drainage systems. This can include French drains, trench drains, underground downspouts, and other equipment. Proper lawn care, such as soil aeration and native plants, also aids with drainage.
