"Initial Interview: Went very smoothly. Bill is very friendly and easy to talk to. This work is new to me. He explained the scope of the damage - very pitted from decades of salt, some cracks, and damaged front edge. I knew it was in bad shape. He explained the repairs that were required, and they required extra attention/work. We added my front porch (concrete) to the job. The garage is about 25 x 20 feet, 500 square feet. He left and I soon received an estimate for the work. I had done my homework and his quote was close to my guesstimate, so I felt it was a fair price. Note - this included a promotion discount offered thru Angie's List. I would have cringed if I had had to pay the full price. We also discussed the finish of the epoxy - the flakes being added. Bill texted some photos to illustrate light, medium, and heavy flaking. He made recommendations and readily accepted my different decisions. I was advised the work would span 2 days and then the epoxy needed drying time - 24 hours before anything could be placed on it, 72 hours before parking the car.

Work Crew: A two man crew came Monday and Tuesday mornings. They were friendly and I enjoyed meeting the men who would fix my garage floor. Bill was also there at the start each morning. Monday we signed the contract and we made our final detail points on the project; including that the garage door needed to remain open until the evening. There will be a final step in a couple weeks, a clear coat finish will be applied after the epoxy has thoroughly dried.

I was surprised when he came with the contract that the payment was to be paid in full at the commencement of the job. I understand that this is an Angie's List procedure. The contract notes that the funds will be held in an escrow account. This make sense, given paying for services before they are completed. My guess is that Bill will remember this comment and notify people ahead of time in the future.

Initial Review Of The Work: The floor and porch look great! The repairs, especially to the front edge are very good. There was NO debris/garbage left for me to dispose. They had placed empty Quikrete (?-or similar) boxes in a large garbage bag after Monday's work, outside the garage. The bag was gone Tuesday. I know they had to have had empty epoxy containers! This was a nice surprise - you know how contractors tend to leave debris behind for us to dispose of. Everything was cleaned up!

I like the work and professionalism of Bill and his team. He is easy to talk with when discussing the project. This was new to me and I was comfortable with his responses. He made no attempt to upsell, which I appreciate.  I definitely recommend him.

"This is our Second Concrete Patio that Mario created for us, due to the fact that the first patio did not turn out as well as we had hoped it would.  Mario new were not pleased with how the patio turned out, and he was very concerned with doing a good job for us, so after talking things over with him, we all decided to pour another patio near the previous one, but no changes were made to the first patio.  After several rain delays the second patio was created and looks really good.  It meets all our needs and expectations.  We were very impressed with Mario's' willingness to complete a second patio for us after the first one did not satisfy our needs. I would also like to add that delays are part of the contracting business please be patient and know that your contractor is doing the best he can to get the job done as quickly as possible for you.  Mario was very considerate, and polite throughout the job, he called us often and made sure we knew what was causing the delays. We are very happy with the 2nd patio. Mario did a wonderful job and we hope to see him next year to install concrete sidewalks around our home.  Thank you Mario, this was a job well done, and I know we will enjoy many summer parties on that patio, with all our friends and family."

"We did a split project with Kurt and his team. We had a mother-in-law suite and we wanted to turn it into a full size bedroom with half bath instead since we are expecting our second child. They were recommended to us from a friend and I couldn't have been happier. To start, they were able to beat the price of another contracting group in the area by a pretty decent bit, and on top of that, were willing to do more as well. I demo'd the wall, but they took over after that. They moved all of the wall positions and rebuilt the walls to make the smaller bathroom and bigger bedroom. The drywall job was fantastic. John (or Jon) was the one who handled most of that. He hung the walls and smoothed out the mud. He was absolutely meticulous about it too. I haven't seen a smoother drywall job thus far. Kurt also tiled the bathroom which looks fantastic. Level as can be and the grout-lines are perfect. They installed the toilet (which I actually said I would do) as well as the vanity. When they ran electric through, they set me up with a line attached to a switch for a vanity light in case I wanted one and kept it behind the wall marked and ready for me. There are little details like that that make all the difference in there work, prepping for the future and making sure things will last. They left me a nice access hatch to the ceiling and made a nice molding for it which was an awesome addition for when I need to get up there. We said we would paint the rooms, but they wanted to at least prime them, and I'm very happy they did. They fixed a cracking ceiling and re-painted the whole thing too which is an amazing improvement over before. Overall, we aren't unhappy about a single thing. Kurt has been very responsive after-the-job about just questions on general things and that just shows the work ethics and quality of he and his group. Would I recommend them? Absolutely, without a doubt in my mind. Will I use them again? We already have asked and have two more projects for them later this year. If you have a project, HIRE THESE GUYS!"
