She was mindful of my budget and offered great advice on repurposing a few essential items I already had. The final product was so lovely I could use my office as a recording space for a work video! Gabrielle made my office into an excellent space that my whole family enjoys. I also worked with her on my house purchase and was able to initially use her expertise to look over home inspections, view houses via video chat and help me make a decision on the feasibility of said homes. Gabrielle's knowledge was imperative in my home buying decision. Furthermore, she was also pivotal in a kitchen remodle that I did in my small cottage home, attached to my main house. She helped us think of a strategy for removing a partial wall and also how to best position, construct and install a kitchen island. Needless to say, Gabrielle is a one stop shop for any building, interior and consulting needs that anyone has while building, buying, renovating or decorating a home. "After 15 years in my current home, I was finally getting granite countertops. I was so excited. I went to Paramount on the advice of a friend who had used them. From the start they were very helpful. They answered any and all questions I had. I looked at multiple granite places, and I ended up selecting my granite at another business. Paramount did an excellent job coordinating the delivery of the granite to their site in a quick and efficient manner. The gentleman that came to measure our kitchen was professional and on time. Paramount allowed me to come down to the company and they put up all three slabs they were using for my kitchen and put the template of my counters, island and desktops on them. They were patient and helpful in deciding where to cut the granite to get the maximum effect I was looking for. (Lots of movement). Along the way, I made changes - edges of the granite, backsplash changes and added sinks and faucets. They patiently updated my invoice and emailed me the updates to the project within an hour every time.  I never felt they were frustrated or upset with me, and they treated me with respect. The installers were on time and professional.  They did an excellent job and I love it. I have had many compliments on them and wouldn't change a thing. "Sears' package of services allowed me to worry very little because they coordinated all the trades. Sears has a longstanding reputation for standing behind their products, something I had not found to be true with other contractors I had used in the past. Thecarpenter/job coordinator who did the refacing work was wonderful to work with, making minor modifiations as necessary to fit my needs.  I had not originally intended to purchase new appliances, but Sears offered me such a great discount that I added a new cooktop, double ovens (which required some cabinet modifications), and a dishwasher, which were installed by the carpenter.  He also coordinated the quartz countertop and flooring installations. All of the work Sears did was well done and professional. After the job was completed, I noticed that a door in the den that had to be cut off to accommodate the new flooring was a bit rough, and they sent the carpenter back to fix it within a week. I was somewhat concerned that I would not like the laminate used to reface the wood cabinets, but it has turned out to be very attractive, more durable than wood, and easy to clean.  No one can even find the seams in the quartz countertop or the Congoleum flooring, so I feel that their workmen are very experienced and skilled. I not only would recommend Sears to others, I would use them again for other work."

The ceiling texturing had been poorly done so removal was not as simple as scraping popcorn ceilings. The house had many different dark colored walls so the painting over them was not a simple task either.
