"My 89 year old Mother hired company not knowing any better. A little over $9000 for just a tub and enclosure. Took advantage of elderly. Company would not give me any pricing for the materials. Way Over priced ! Not worth it."

Customers say: Quality work

"Alan Mikol and his amazing crew made the dream of staying in my home a reality. I can age in place because of these dedicated men. Alan listened intently to my physical limitations and my desire to have a bathroom that maintains the style of my home. His vast knowledge of designing handicap-accessible bathrooms was meticulously executed by foreman Steven, James, Tony, Matt and David. The team was punctual and exceptionally courteous, staying on schedule while at the same time protecting my home from damage. Steven is an exceptional group leader. He has a unique ability to be unfazed by challenges or changes. In addition, James put the final touches on the renovation with his attention to detail making the renovation a complete success. Thank you, A.M. Window & Construction, for a job superbly done. C.E.H. "

"Predatory Sales and Subpar Quality Mad City's process is predatory from start to finish. Three hours of high-pressure sales tactics in my own home, even after I repeatedly stated I needed to discuss it with my husband. After the installation the field manager acknowledging the wave and gaps in the wall, he told me that while it didn't meet my expectations, it met their "standard of error." Let that sink in: Mad City Bath?s official policy is that crooked and wavy is good enough. If you value your money, or want a shower that is actually square and plumb, stay far away from this company. They perform subpar work, hide behind automated phone lines when things go wrong, and will abandon you the moment they have your money. Hire a reputable contractor instead."

"They did a great job. They were very professional and prompt getting back to me about any questions I had. Even though all the rain we had this spring extended the project they took their time to make sure everything was done right. I get compliments all the time on the great job."

"Matt was super professional all the way through the process, from signing the contract at a fair and agreed on price that fit my budget all the way through completion of the job in a little over 2 weeks. My concerns over some drywall seams that were showing after painting were met with a willingness to fix the problem. He made things right even though it delayed him by a couple of days after fixing and repainting with a different kind of paint. He fixed another issue we had with doorknobs and hinge coloring without any problems at all and was totally professional about it all. And his entire crew was just great, answering all my questions and concerns every time I had one. They never acted annoyed with me looking over their shoulders. Chris even helped me move my couch and organ back into the room which saved my bad back. I would recommend Renewal Renovations to anyone looking for quality job at a fair price. "

"I hired Bella Rose Flooring LLC a second time after they did my bathroom flooring, lighting and cabinets. They installed vinyl luxury flooring in my main entryway, kitchen and dining room. Once again the job was completed perfectly and within 2-3 days! I'm very happy with the results"

FAQs for bathroom remodel projects in Canonsburg, PA

You can buy a replacement vanity by selecting a pre-made unit with an integrated sink from a local home improvement supplier. Pre-made vanities are designed for easy installation and compatibility with your existing plumbing. If a ready-made option doesn't meet your needs, consider hiring a custom builder to create a vanity that fits your space and style.

You can purchase a bathroom vanity from major home improvement retailers like Home Depot and Lowe’s or online stores like Wayfair, which offer a variety of pre-made vanities. Visiting local showrooms and bathroom supply stores can also provide professional advice and help you choose the right vanity for your space.

Installing your bathroom vanity flush against the wall enhances stability and prevents shifting. This placement also eliminates hard-to-clean gaps and keeps your vanity securely in place. Building codes often require a minimum clearance of four inches from bathtubs and at least 21 inches of free space in front of the sink for accessibility and safety.

You can upgrade a single vanity to a double vanity by installing additional cabinets, a second sink, and matching fixtures. This process requires additional plumbing adjustments, countertop modifications, and careful alignment to ensure both sinks function correctly. Upgrading to a double vanity enhances bathroom functionality and offers more space, which is especially beneficial for shared bathrooms.

The best vanity top material depends on your budget, style preferences, and maintenance willingness. Materials like quartz or solid surfaces are excellent choices for durability and low maintenance. If you're on a tighter budget, laminate is affordable but less durable. Consider how much traffic your bathroom gets and choose a material that balances cost, appearance, and upkeep.

Installing a bathroom vanity takes between three and six hours. Simple installations may be completed in under three hours, while more complex projects requiring adjustments or plumbing modifications can take up to six hours or more. The installation process includes assembling cabinets, placing the countertop, installing the sink if necessary, and connecting plumbing.
