"Called on Wednesday 08/17/20 talked with owner Mr. Kamienski. He explained what had to be done and gave me his price over the phone. Said he could come out to do the repairs on Saturday 08/20/20 and was there right on time (actually he was early). When he and his wife arrived they both got right to work. He explained why and what he was doing as they worked. Came prepared to do the job and worked steady until it was completed. Also they were very through in their cleanup. They work very well as a team , each knowing they role in the process. We have had a few heavy rains since the repairs and have had no issues with water leakage. "Overall we were pleased with Blanket Insulation.  Our calls were returned promptly and the estimate meeting was scheduled
within a few days.  Additionally, even though the work would take place after a discount promotion for Angie's List members would end, the discount was still honored.  The estimate stated insulation was to be inserted by removing individual rows of siding, drilling subwall, and reinstalling the siding.  We were expected to be home but told most of the work would be completed from the outside.
Unfortunately, we were told the insulation couldn't be done as stated.  This was due to the home exterior possibly containing asbestos.  We were told the work could still be done but needed to be done inside the home or could be rescheduled.  We were not prepared to have workers in our home but we could not afford to take another day off work.  We chose to have the work done  and "hid" in the basement with our animals, trying to keep them calm.  We didn't have access to the kitchen and appliances, so we had to get carry out food for the day.  All of this was very inconvenient and seems as if it could have been avoided with a more thorough estimate inspection.       
 
The work was completed that day and we have definitely been able to tell a difference.  Our heating and cooling bills have decreased, as has the draft we often felt.  All of the employees we had interactions with from Blanket Insulation were polite and professional.
