"I dealt with Dave?s Fence for my backyard fence, and unfortunately, it was a very frustrating experience. I provided my credit card details for the agreed cost of the fence. While reviewing my bank statements, I discovered that I had been overcharged by $2,347, nearly 50% more than the agreed price, through multiple charges made in September, November, and December. Since December 22, I have contacted the company multiple times requesting a refund of the overcharged amount. Each time, I received the same responses: this week, after the holidays, tomorrow, Monday, and now another five business days. Despite repeated promises, the refund has still not been processed. What is most concerning is how efficient the company was at collecting payment, yet how slow and unresponsive they have been in correcting a clear billing error. If I had not carefully reviewed my bank statements, this overcharge likely would never have been identified or addressed. This experience reflects poor billing "

"Did a great job "

"We contracted with Viking in July 2024 to install 200 feet of upscale fencing along one side of our property. The work was scheduled for August 2024. The installers arrived on the agreed date and time. Within two weeks the fence began to fail. Viking will say that this is due to: 1)Hurricane damage; and, 2)Poor materials. Neither of these claims is true. The fence was installed one month prior to hurricane Helene and upon further investigation several of the posts were installed too far apart compromising the integrity of the fence. Furthermore, the installers did not follow the manufacturer's installation instructions. Viking attempted to repair the fence a couple of times; however, the fence continued to fail. After four months Viking informed us that they will not honor their one-year warranty on installation and workmanship and that we were left to our own devices to obtain the necessary materials and engage a contractor to repair the fence - forking our even more money that this expensive fence cost us. Viking was washing their hands of the project which clearly suffered from a sub-standard installation - frankly, we are left with a mess. We have never been treated so dismissively, unprofessionally and dishonestly by a contractor."

"Vinnie and his team were reliable and professional and a pleasure to work with during our master bathroom remake. He had good advice and answered our questions in a quick timeframe. He told us before the job started that his goal is to make the job look like it was always there. He was right! I am so happy with the upgrades we chose and I still say every time I walk in it that I can’t believe how beautiful it came out. I will look forward to future projects with eagerness instead of dread with Vinnie at the helm."

On 10/16/2025, Corey and Marlon installed a fantastic new gate in my backyard in Merritt Island, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. "Consider using someone else before giving Carries Fence the opportunity to give you false promises. They changed my installation date twice, then installed the wrong fence; side by side and not shadowbox. They initially gave me resistance to correcting their mistake, but after some discussion they agreed to fix the mistake. Clearly a breakdown in communication within the company. After completing the job there were a few issues we requested to be addressed. I spoke with Debby at their office who promised me these would all be corrected immediately. The workers never showed, no calls from Debby or the office to reschedule or communicate their plan. Once they received our check things continued to get worse. Debby and Bob Coleman both retracted their promises and communication became non existent. We continue to have exposed nails which is not only a structural concern, but a safety concern for our small children and dogs. I would strongly consider giving another local company your business before placing your trust in Carries Fence company."
