In the end, he cleaned up every speck of dust, and cleaned one of my vent covers. He advised that my ducts were all clean and clear, and did not need cleaning. He showed me pictures of the inside of my ductwork. He actually found the source of the mold, which was not in the A/C system, and brought it to my attention. How much did he charge for all of this? Zero. I gave him $20 for a tip, but wow... this is the most honest contractor I've ever seen.
