"<p>I contacted American Sliding Door to install pet doors in my sliding glass door and in the screen door for the slider.  I was so happy to have a local provider (I like to support the local businesses if possible).</p> <p>I knew I was going to have to replace the glass on the sliding door in order to have the pet door through the glass.  I found the price very reasonable  considering the glass replacement, screen door, and pet door hardware.  They are excellent quality pet doors.  </p> <p>The pet door in the slider comes with two flaps, one inside and outside the glass, this keeps the door insulated.  There are also magnets that hold the pet door closed from wind or airflow.  If you need to remove any of the magnets or flaps to help during the training of your pet, it is fairly easy with this pet door.</p> <p>Despite already having a screen door, the entire screen door needed to be replaced to accommodate the pet door hardware in the screen.  I find the quality of the new screen door much better than the original so I found the additional cost in the screen door to be worth it.</p> <p>The workers were extremely professional.  They offered to install the door shortly after everything arrived in their shop.  Everything came out perfect.  They took there time to make sure we were going to be happy with the end product.</p> <br />"

"The new livingroom shutter frame was constructed very badly and I had to make them rebuild and re-install it. The new bedroom closet door was hung very badly and again I had to make them re-install it as well. None of these guys noticed these blaring issues upon installation."

"The owner , Daneil,  of Lock Genius was out of town but sent an affiiate ( who didn't work directly with him) over right away to assess our issue with door handle that would not work. The owner, Daniel was the nicest and most hard-working person I have probably ever dealt with for service/maintenance issues with our property or home. His affiliate charged $74 to assess issue and I waited a couple weeks for a call back to hear about what parts had been ordered and for a replacement but when I did not hear back I called Daniel and he went to work on it right away - the part was hard to obtain and he called may people to try to find a part but when he could not he figured out a way to use another part to work instead saving us  quite a bit of $ (replacement of door handle would have been $500-600 but in the end parts and labor by Daniel were only $174 more.) He even took a look at some othr things in our loft unit we were concerned about unrelated to the door/lock.  He was always so eager to help , kind and responsive by phone. I woudl highly recommend Daniel to anyone! <br />"

"Mr. Peters showed up same-day (a Saturday) to fix a faulty dimmer switch in our tenant's apartment. He provided me a detailed explanation of the issue and the repair and offered his advice on several other small issues around the house, including a potentially dangerous short in a desk lamp as well. He ensured that our smoke and carbon monoxide detectors in both units were up to code. I definitely appreciated his availability, promptness, and professionalism. <br />"

"I referred Shelby to a client of mine. The main thing they needed was to have a closet built in a room (framing, sheetrock, tape, texture and prime) so that it could be advertised as a bedroom. It required moving electrical and cable plus pulling carpet back and then re-tacked and stretched. Also all of the closet doors in three other bedrooms were installed incorrectly needed to be re-installed with all new hardware and two ceiling fans had to have exposed romex sheathed to code. In addition a cable outlet was installed incorrectly and had to be moved and a dryer vent needed to be installed in the garage (a siding contractor had blocked it!). <br /> When Shelby came to do his free estimate he noticed a gas smell in the garage coming from the dryer. The flexible hose was leaking! Insistent this was not safe (we agreed!), he went to the store that evening, came back and replaced the hose! <br /> He noticed in the garage that there were extension cords connecting several things (not code), exposed wiring, improper water heater support, and missing fire tape on an entire wall (needed for safety and code). <br /> Time was a factor for completion. Shelby emailed his estimate within 24 hrs (wow!) and committed to the short two week window required (another wow!). He went above and beyond working weekends and long hours. The quality of his workmanship and his professionalism far exceeded our expectation. We are grateful for his expertise and because of his diligence; the house went through the property inspection with flying colors!! <br /> When I refer anyone it is not only their reputation on the line it is my reputation as well. I can say with confidence that I would refer Shelby again. <br /> <br /> <br />"
