"Before ordering my new cooktop, I emailed Harvey the manuals for both my old cooktop and the new one, so that he could check out the specs and make sure the new one would fit into the same space in the island. He assured me it would so I ordered the new cooktop and we set an appointment based on expected arrival. When the cooktop was late being delivered, I called Harvey and he had no problem with the delay; he told me to just call when the cooktop arrived and if he was available that day he would come by to install it. It delivered late, so he came the next morning. The installation went quickly with no problems, except that the cooktop did not come with two latches that can be used to hold it more securely in place. Harvey said if I ordered the latches he could install them for me if I prefer, but that it's something I could easily do myself and he showed me where and how to install them. I appreciated that he didn't take advantage of an opportunity to make an extra service fee on a job that would have taken him five minutes. I was very happy with Harvey's responsiveness, flexibility, and professionalism."

"When I called and left a message for Darrell, he returned my call right away. He explained that replacing my shutters would probably take a day, and he could do the job between his other, bigger jobs, calling me the day before he planned to come. That was fine with me - I understood it's not a huge job, I wasn't really in a big hurry, and my schedule is very flexible. He called a few weeks later, saying he's coming the next day at around 8am, and sure enough, he showed up when he said he would! That alone scores points! My husband and I had purchased replacement shutters from Lowe's already, so Darrell's job was just taking down the old ones and putting up the new ones we already had. After a short time, he told us something we hadn't noticed: the first-floor shutters are longer than the second-floor shutters. We just measured the one that was knocked off the second floor, and bought the same size for all the windows. Darrell went to a local building supplier right away and brought back a sample wheel for us to choose from, and we did. Before he committed to the purchase, he figured he'd go to Lowe's and see if they had the same thing we bought, only in the proper, longer size. Well, they did, and he bought them. Lowe's has a great return policy, so we just returned the original ones that didn't fit - no problem! Darrell did a great job and explained how the way he screwed the new shutters in would be sturdier than the original ones. They'll probably last at least another 16 years, probably longer. Darrell was very polite, friendly and respectful. He did all this running around in the morning and still finished the job by about 2pm! His actual labor charge was $350 ... the remaining was the cost of the shutters he purchased for us. We'd hire Darrell again in a heartbeat!"

"My shower faucet was not providing hot water at all and we had a broken toilet in the basement.  Cory was able to quickly identify the problem with the shower faucet and replace the cartridge to get it working again.  Offered to replace the broken toilet in the basement as part of an Angie's list package price that included removal, disposal, installation and the toilet itself.  McArdle is knowledgeable, on-time and professional.  This was my second time using their services and 100% pleased again.  My house was the model 20+ years ago in this development so many things are always off or not as they should be.  Cory is a pleasure to have performing work and I highly recommend them. <br />"

"Marc's crew showed up on time Wednesday morning and immediately began to take up the old flooring. By the end of the day, the new area was constructed, new flooring was down and new stairs were installed. Wednesday morning was used to install railings, spindles and a few pieces of latticework. Marc stopped by a number of times to check on progress and to see if we had any questions or concerns. Marc and his crew were friendly and courteous. They worked hard and the high quality of their work is evident. We are extremely satisfied with their workmanship."

"We are really happy with our beautiful new front doors and the work that ShreveCo’s employees, Kevin, Larry and Greg did. Randy at ShreveCo helped us decide the type of door to purchase and even the color! He wrote a contract for the materials and labor that we reviewed and signed. It did take some time arranging appointments and then for the doors at HMI, a Philadelphia company, to be built and spray painted. Because we have an almost 100 year old Craftsman bungalow, we had to have a custom front door made. Home Depot, etc. didn’t have the size nor style of dental molding (none) that we needed. HMI made a highly insulated fiberglass door with wood graining, 6 lights and no dental molding. Our back door was a standard size. We went with a wood grained steel door that was vertically half window. Both doors came pre-hung. Randy recommended that we purchase a standard Andersen storm door for the back and then he would install it. The Andersen order took longer than expected to arrive, pushing back the installation date. But ShreveCo was ok with that and even picked up the storm door for us. Our old house door openings were not square so a bit of extra measuring and custom trim sizing was needed, all done accurately and professionally. Its wonderful that our new doors are all airtight and open and close easily. The men moved the doorbell location and threaded a bell wire for us. The new doorbell button required a larger bore hole so Greg carefully made it larger. That was going the extra mile. The three men who worked on our house couldn’t have been nicer and more professional and I felt safe with them in the house. They were industrious and their work was thorough. If either my husband or I had questions they were happy to answer them. The job site was left clean and neat at the end of each day. While the time estimate was 2 days, it took ½ day longer mainly because of the extra work needed to fit our wonky door openings."
