"We had been having leaking in our ceiling near our chimney for almost a year, despite having had our roof and gutters and having our chimney flashing redone last year. After a number of frustrating follow-ups with our original roofer and chimney repair company, we called S&K, which came highly recommended on our community page. Sean came out within two weeks despite a very busy rainy season. He checked our roof and told us quite honestly that the problem was not the roof or even the flashing, which had been done well but the porousness of our older bricks. He applied some silicone sealant right then and told us to call him again if it didn't work after the heavy rains this weekend; he also mentioned we should just keep periodically reapplying this sealant ourselves.
