"If you want a professional job completed this is your ticket. I needed surface runoff captured and redirected. Then my gravel driveway regraded then fresh stone put down. This gentleman was very meticulous in everything he did. He shot laser lines to ensure water ran off properly. Once he completed drainage, the detailed work preparing the driveway was detailed. He used 3 types of stone, combining the different sizes was to bind all inorder the compaction would be a solid drive. Then he bordered the driveway by fixing 4x6"x12' timbers and secured with lengths of rebar, to contain all the stone. He DID NOT cut any corners. He DID NOT short on materials. "Really disappointed in the entire experience with grounds quality lawn. Starting with just initiating the job, it took nearly a month to get responses from them and get someone out to start work. I only stuck with it at that point because a family friend said they were good but should have gone with my gut and found another company at that point. The guys they sent were constantly taking breaks and at one point the foreman even grabbed my fishing pole and spent about 30 min fishing while the remaining four watched him. This wouldn't have bothered me as much if the rate I was paying was more reasonable but they were charging me about $600 per hour for the 5 guys so these breaks and fishing sessions were costing me a lot of money. I voiced my concern with the project manager who just made excuses and cared not at all about what was going on. I asked to speak to owner Justin grounds who did the same. Just excused the behavior and had no problem with it whatsoever. All the while no one could explain why the hourly rate was so high when the guys were working so inefficiently. They kept saying the hourly rate was $60 per hour per crew member but charging me double that with no explanation. Not sure if I was just unlucky or if the company is getting complacent and resting on their reputation but I was very unimpressed and I am generally very easy going with these things and rarely complain about having bad service from anyone."
