We had asked for additional work to be done and his price was very reasonable and he easily adapted to what we wanted to do. He had a team that specialized in wood floors, banisters and door installations. They started and finished the job without interruption working 9am-5pm. They are very hard workers with attention to detail. Floors, baseboards, banisters, spindles, trim, closets, doors all looked perfect and many great suggestions were made by the owner along the way. George has been in the business for many years and has a very positive and friendly personality. This makes it easier for the homeowners like us to have dreams become a reality. "Arkadia Floorings (Mike Osan Mircea) has done a wonderful job of installing lvp in our basement. He is extremely meticulous , worked at a steady pace and completed the job with utmost care. He pulled out the carpets and cleanly packed them for easy disposal. Then he made the basement floor look really new without any costs overrun. The thresholds, shoe base installs, etc were done to tidy up further. For stairs going down to the basement , he pulled the rug out and there were hardwood stairs already. He resurfaced and stained with a color that matched the lvp. This actually reduced our costs . Towards the end of our job , he took extra time to clean up, vacuum and really leave the home slick n span. He also took care of a few extras - like cleaning up /buffing up some parts of existing wood floors elsewhere in the house, all for no extra cost."

"I had the carpeting replaced in one of the bedrooms. Expo sent me sample photos of carpets by email so I could choose a carpet over the phone. Dina, the salesperson, was very helpful. The installer was terrific. He got there right on time and took out the old carpeting and hauled it away and then installed the new carpet in two hours.It looks beautiful. I'm really pleased with the service I got. I have used Expo several times before and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone."

"After removing carpeting from our old staircase,we found several of our treads cracked and broken. Roman cut out all the old risers and treads and replaced them with beautiful new wood.He primed the risers and stringers all white. He stained and finished the treads to match the existing hardwood flooring. It looks beautiful. Roman is an honest, hard working man."

"Installers did not come on time, two hours late. Then they had to validate that we paid Empire, which took an hour. The estimate of work was totally wrong, we were supposed to get a floating floor but the installers said they could not do that So they instead did a complete teardown of the existing floor and removed all the old tiles. The quarter round was included in the price of the materials but was never installed because we did not get a raised (floating) floor. So I think I was overcharged for the materials which were not used. I spoke to a number of persons at Empire about such issues without any resolution to my satisfaction. Besides all the problems encountered we do like the floor and it nice looking."
